Yes, we thought Trafalgar uh has them has them neck and neck, but we know that uh Ralph Norman, true conservatives gonna pull it on out, right, Nikki? Yes, we're gonna get off the horn with the congressman. True. Um and so yeah, if we don't like indoctrination of our or uh what do they call it? Birthright coronation. Coronation of Senator.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, coronation.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we don't like that. Okay.
SPEAKER_01So may the best man or woman win.
SPEAKER_02No. But yeah, okay, um and such like the Iraq. Uh okay. So uh Jerome Hudson, what's what's on your docket today?
SPEAKER_01I uh I know we have uh well yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We could do that. We can do that.
SPEAKER_02I know you love Disney.
SPEAKER_01Um I I gotta say, uh, sometimes, you know, I've been doing this a long time. And um I I'll start with Raquel Lee, the actress who says that when um, you know, she was 14 years old in 2001, she was working on a set of a movie and she was repeatedly raped um by an employee uh on Disney's um uh uh on the set, and Disney was aware of it. Now she's suing the company. Um Disney was aware of the of the sexual assaults, there were uh sexualized comments made toward her um by the individual who abused her, uh, and that there were others party uh to those jokes. Um and so she she claims that she was not the only victim. Uh and you know, yeah. Um now she she she last worked on a Disney TV show, uh uh The Proud Family is like a reboot of a cartoon series. Um but it I mean some of this stuff is just so shocking. I mean, who really knows what's fact, what's fiction, uh, and that certainly will be sorted out in court proceedings.
SPEAKER_02Wasn't there like a documentary about some sort of abuse going on recently a couple of years ago?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Nickelodeon, it was it was based on uh Nickelodeon uh, you know, I forget the young man's name, but he was an actor on uh on several Nickelodeon programs right on the tip of my tongue. Uh and it was it it it largely you know focused around um certain creators of the TV shows, very high executives at Nick Nickelodeon. Uh and so, you know, given the Hayden Pennetier situation, it just sort of rekindles and it's actually led a lot of uh female actors to come out and just admonish the industry for failing to protect young um actors on set. Um and if you're Disney, you know, it's it's here you are again um with your name, Disney, in headlines with rape and sexual abuse. So it's um I mean, you know, so I I we it was it was kind of a weird Disney weekend for me, right? Because Paramount CEO David Ellison is trying to purchase Warner Brothers Discovery, $100 billion plus dollar acquisition that's being held up by 12 Democrat state AGs uh filing um uh antitrust lawsuit, which is being led by California's A.G. Rob Bonta, but uh Mark uh Ruffalo, who's perhaps most famous for getting angry and turning green on screen in the Disney-owned Marvel Studios movies, um Ruffalo's been a a very loud proponent, uh, excuse me, uh a very loud opponent of this merger. And, you know, he was accused of making anti-Semitic comments um by Paramount Studios, but also four leading Jewish um uh organizations. And so it's just it's just very strange to me. It's it's like this is high-level, these are high-level business transactions. Mark Ruffalo's been around the industry for decades. You know, uh two decades ago, he, you know, was actually pro-merger. Uh he was pro pro-merger last when Disney purchased 20th Century Fox, um, or certainly wasn't critical of that merger. Uh, and so it it it's like the reality TV in some in in some ways, um, of just like mundane business transactions at a very high level in the entertainment industry that most people uh either have heard of or probably haven't, and certainly don't care all that deeply about. Um and it's just hypocrisy and a lack of intellectual consistency, and you know, Mark Ruffalo is just he's just a buffoon to me now. He's becoming he's becoming one of those actors where it's gonna be hard to watch him and divorce.
SPEAKER_02He looks like a like a pot smoking basement dweller. That's what he that's how he strikes me, you know?
SPEAKER_01You know, his his issue with Paramount and David Ellison purchasing Warner Brothers Discovery is uh Ellison and his father, um Larry Ellison, the CEO of Oracle, they're they're all Jewish and they're all pro-Israel. And Mark Ruffalo is among a lot of the Marvel movie uh uh actors, actually, but uh that contingent of people in Hollywood, actors, writers, producers, directors, uh 100% of the criticism is about Israel, and and they they do not admonish Hamas or or or the people in Palestine who you know helped um during the hostage uh uh situation and the war. Like they they are not critical of the other side of the war, right? And and in their eyes, the Palestinian people are purely victims in every imaginable way, and it's just strange credrulity, right? Um and so that's the lack of intellectual honesty. Um and and and so, you know, it's just it's stupid hour, right? There are I don't know, maybe it's just a summer thing because I woke up this morning at 5 a.m. That's not unusual. Um, but what got me out of bed, aside from I just love doing my job, is Jelly Roll filled in for Jimmy Kimmel. And it's just a bunch of penis jokes, fat jokes. He calls President Trump a fat pig.
SPEAKER_02Jelly Roll does?
SPEAKER_01Uh the dub award-winning uh country music star has been very open, open about his his his Christianity uh and how God saved his soul. Uh that jelly roll. Right, no, shocked me. I actually didn't believe the uh the headline from the rap, um, but I watched all 12 minutes of it, and as I write in the article, Jelly Roll, like Anthony Anderson and Rosie O'Donnell before him, just dedicated several minutes to his opening monologue. I mean, just making the most crash jokes. I you know, I I I mean, I'm just old enough to remember like Jay Leno wouldn't really go where these people are so willing to go. And um, you know, uh Letterman, I guess, was known to to be a little crass, but this this stuff is just it was it was it was surprising to me for the same reasons I guess probably surprising to a lot of people under the sound of my voice right now.
SPEAKER_02You know, uh people like jelly roll, see these people I hate when the population of fandom population idolizes people like this and they're like, oh, he turned the girl around and he's so crystal now and he's done the ripper, now they're broken up whatever. And he turns it all together. And he started with walking club and he was a drug guy and the criminal and he turned it off. I don't know why. I don't believe anybody, I don't believe it. I feel like they're capitalizing on something that and they're faking it, and that you just totally prove my point once again.
SPEAKER_03I'll I'll ask I'll add this by asking is this a prerequisite for filling in that you have to continue the mantra of orange man bad and let's be gross?
SPEAKER_01You know, so I don't I don't actually remember Jelly Roll filling in for Jimmy Kimmel last summer, but apparently he did. Um and what I do remember about that is r reporting on, to your point, Nick, the people who filled in for because Anthony Anderson got the ball rolling, and just like Anthony Anderson did uh two weeks ago, last summer when he filled in for Kimmel, it was just a bunch of ridiculous Trump jokes. I mean, it's just obsessive, you know. Uh and yeah, it's the same writer's room, and that writers' room is is led uh in part by Jimmy Kimmel's wife, Molly, um, who is just like whatever your worst nightmare fuel of a white liberal woman is, Jimmy Kimmel's wife is that. She's like the head tell spawn um of that contingent of of Americans. And, you know, and so yes, I I after I finished the article and I hit publish, um, like I could I I could vaguely remember Jelly Roll having a visceral response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And, you know, he's he's very close friends apparently with Jimmy Kimmel, who is an incredibly conflicted person. Um and there is just a complete lack lack of consistency with Jimmy Kimmel. Um, you know, he talks about his son and his heart condition on the air, but then doesn't want people to make politics personal when they criticize his politics. Um and of course, you know, he's cried and apologized for mistakes and done it all over again.
SPEAKER_02Back in the 80s, we called that a poser. What a poser. You know, and and that is someone who just is a fraud on every level and they're faking it and making it, and it's so obvious. And and I really do not like it uh when they pulled Christianity into it to win favor. It infuriates me beyond, and I'm always wary of people who do that so publicly and loud.
SPEAKER_01The last major late night host, who is also very openly Catholic, Stephen Colbert, uh, has now been off the air for months, and Jimmy Kimmel is also now talking about his retirement from late night, which wouldn't be the first time that he's done this, but I I I I don't know. Like Disney is now in a multi-legal battle with the Trump administration. Disney is discriminating on the basis of race for hiring, they're discriminating against apparently white males for for the sin of being white white men when it comes to promotions. You can't do that. It's you know well known for decades. Um and the Trump administration is investigating them for it. Um and ABC is using their airways, their public airways, to benefit Democrats. Um, and so I don't know if Jimmy Kimmel's gonna be fired, like his contract is is up, uh, I believe at the end of the summer, next summer. Um, and so I don't know if Disney's saying they won't renew him. I don't see why they wouldn't, because I don't see any evidence that Disney isn't just an arm of the Democrat National Committee. I mean, um I'm looking for that evidence, but but to the contrary, actually.

SPEAKER_02Okay, I thought you had an assignment.
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, Antigua, Lake Attilan, which I highly recommend, especially to any any husbands out there uh willing to uh impress your wise with some of the best, most tranquil volcano views. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Very cool. Well, have a wonderful time. Does this mean we won't talk to you next week?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'll call in from uh two hours ahead. Okay, behind.
