Okay, so so tell us a little bit about regenerative cell treatment, and then I want Michelle to tell her story.

Well, you know, we're a natural care facility, but um and we do a lot of chiropractic and rehab, and we go so far, but when you have a lot of arthritis, you know, the joints have degenerated, have changed shape, and they they don't go back and they can uh become so bad it's hard to walk, it's hard to move, and we can get them moving some, but to change those cells back, to change those bones back and be functional again to avoid surgery, you know, we had to go above and beyond and go more medical and which is more natural, integrative, uh which is dysfunctional, and it's um the regenerative cell treatment, and it's really making huge differences in people. And Michelle's a huge example of it, right?

Yes, absolutely. And Michelle, you're one of the um scenarios that I share often where someone literally got a knee replacement surgery prior to meeting Dr. Falk Falk or being seen um by anyone in his office. And then you were like, Hey, wait a minute. So explain this uh to us. What happened to you?

Well, I've dealt with this arthritis and pain for many years. I'm gonna say at least 25, 30 years. Did you have an injury or no? I think I just was born messed up. Okay. Generics, I guess. Genetics. She's an active person. Yeah. Well, I'm very nudgy, so I'm all over the place. Yes. So I I dealt with trying to get my knee replaced. Um, I got my hip replaced and my knee replaced. Okay. And I needed both knees. They wouldn't do it at one time. And I didn't even know yeah, thank God is right. I didn't know that there was another option. So when I got the knee done, I was like, I don't think I could do the other knee. Why? Because it's like it's such a weird feeling. It's like a something dead. It's like my knee is dead. I can't kneel on it. I mean, I can walk on it and I don't have pain. I do have clicking and I do have other things that click, I get this little clicking noise. Metal. Yeah, metal on metal, I'm sure. Um so to do it again.

So what are some of the things that you cannot do anymore that you said you can't kneel? So, you know, gardening or um what about things like walking on the beach or uh it are the do those things become more complicated?

SPEAKER_06 3:33

Like what are some of the things that you everything has become more complicated. Going up and down stairs. I have to go up and down like I'm an 80-year-old woman. I mean, for heaven's sake, some I just turned 60.

But I feel like I'm uh my mother's 80 years old and she can up the stairs very well.

Well, I am not gifted to do that. So I will up one stair at a time. Sometimes I have to use my booty to get up the stairs. And um, with this, it's just it incredible. We used to do you know, making sausage standing up because we're come from a big Italian family. So we make sausage, we make sauce, we have a big garden. When are you gonna do this again? She never made me any sauce. No, I'll bring you some. Yeah, plenty of basil, we have canned basil, we do a lot. Yes. So it's taken a while in South Carolina because the the ground is not the same, but right, I can't get down. I and God forbid I get down. I can't get up.

So that definitely poses a enormous problem.

So you have listened to the show and you heard maybe Dr. Falk talking about it and and uh me talking about it during the show, that there are people that have the knee replacement in one knee and then find out about regenerative cell treatment with Dr. Falk and go through that process, and they've had great success, and they're like, Oh, I wish I hadn't done that knee replacement. I went for my um, you know, my little physical that we do, and we sat down and had that conversation, looking at the x-rays and finding in a solution to move forward, what we can do to rectify this. And then you know what else he has too is he has the seminars.

Oh, steminars. Um, which was I was going for it anyway, because if Liz says it, I'm doing it. Sorry. Um, but going through those seminars and then um learning and understanding about what takes place, you never get that with a knee replacement.

Yeah. So it's been awesome. I I I there's nothing bad I could say about it. Even the needle doesn't even hurt.

So, and that's a lot of people are like, Are you gonna stick that needle right where it hurts? But you know what? Um, there are people that say they go through it and they don't even really notice it. But what did you notice improving and how what was the timeline of that?

It was pretty quick. Um there are the there are, you know, you're gonna do your the plasma?

Platelet of the PRP. Yeah.

So actually, once I even did the first plasma shot, I felt so much better.

It starts the healing process.

Yes, it's yes, absolutely. From that first injection, it starts the healing process.

And that is what when you use your own blood and you centrifuge it.

And take out the healing processes, the healing, the the healing platelets out there.

And you use that to prep the area but prior so it receives the new stem in our treatment. Uh not the stem or the regenerative cell treatment a lot quicker. Right.

Well, it kind of sounds like a like a fertilizer, it really gets the whole area ready to be healing. And platelets kind of call plat the cells to really work and start working even way better.

So then you uh went through how many rounds of PRP?

And then it was time to get the regenerative cells.

And then what happened?

Then I get my my fancy brace. Yeah, and the brace is important, and you have to wear it because the brace he's gotta check it every week and make sure it's in the right spot. Yeah, and why diligently?

Your knee deforms because of the arthritis, the brace helps bring it back to a more neutral position. And when it does that, it opens up those joint spaces and allows those cells to propagate and in the right way. In the right way, properly. So the brace, I think, is integral to the process. Okay. And we even have a brace for the hip now, because I'm going hip uh cell therapy. And the takes the hip brace takes pressure off the hip right away. Um just wearing it with even without any therapy. And then adding the cells, it actually helps it uh heal someone's.

And these are these regenerative cells are um done uh are resourced in a an ethical manner, and I made sure of that as part of the process.

After a live birth, you're using the umbilical cord. Yeah. And then we just uh contracted with a new lab, uh, which is interesting because uh they do different concentrations of cells in therapies in there, and we found out that the new lab that we have offers double the concentration in the same injection in there. So Michelle twice that much, yeah. Twice twice as much power. Yeah, twice as strong. I got ripped off again. Oh man. But even the half concentration, she did awesome there. So you can imagine now the double concentration, our new next patients are gonna even do better.

So you had the three PRP, then the regenerative cell injection. Did you get any others after that?

No. What we what what I've been doing is working through with Susan, getting the massages.

Isn't she amazing? She really is. Watch it, she might get get you pregnant. Well, that would be an articulate concept. She does fertility massage.

I don't know if Michelle's on that route, though. No. No, no.

But Dr. Falk takes you through. I mean, every time I I'm in his office, he's watching the knee. He wants to see where the um my brace is at when I have my brace off. He's working it out. So if he feels anything, any tension um that is happening within the knee, he will work that out for me.

I mean, he's realign it, keep it doing the right place. Michelle Michelle's helps a little bit and she's doing her therapies and her exercise behaviour. Except when she falls on it. One time, for heaven's sake. She fell on it, yeah, and kind of reactivated it.

But I'll tell you what, what I was so worried, and he had said to me, he said, I said, it's a little swollen. He said, you know what? The inflammation might be okay. And it actually worked out fine. Okay. I was so concerned. I'm like, I killed the holy yeah, I bet.

But she bounced back so fast there, yeah. And it's still there, but they love inflammation there, so they go with more inflammation there is. So even before you have this treatment, you can't get off your anti-inflammatories because they have to know where to go. So if you had a steroid injection, or if you're on uh some kind of a medication that lowers your uh inf inflammation, then they won't know where to go. Interesting.

Okay, and all of that knowledge and and over time, you know, um it's just like you said, the process is getting better and better and higher. Oh, yeah. Higher tech, higher quality. Yeah, and a lot of people are now doing these thumb surgeries.

And you know, it the carpal tunnel thing tunnel surgery used to be a thing. Then it was rotator cup surgery used to be a thing. Now it's knee replacement surgery. It's like it is whatever the um uh flavor of the day is for these doctors that are are surgeons. That I mean, a l sometimes you do need a knee replacement.

Yeah, sometimes it's that bad and you just can't await it. Or even hipstones can get bad really quickly. So, you know, like I said, some hips that we won't take because they're just too too far gone. But now so that's why we do a thorough exam, we do x-rays, we'll go over everything and make sure you're a good candidate for it. Because we want good results. And then we'll stay with you, like Michelle said. We'll watch make watch you and make sure things stay lined up and things heal in the right way and you're doing the right things, keeping your exercises. A lot of offices that I've I've heard from patients go and they say they get an injection and then even talk to them again. Sometimes they just go and that's it. Take an injection. All right, see you later. But we we were more concerned. We want to stay with our patients and want to keep them well and make sure everything works out and get the best results.

It is a it is a uh it it is a it does feel like that when you're there, actually. I didn't really think about that, but yeah. You know, and a lot of patients they'll go to their orthopedic or their medical doctor, and they're gonna tell them things like, oh, this doesn't work, and and don't do it because they don't use something that's not effective. And that's they just totally lie to people, I think, a lot of times. Because Michelle's an example of of course it works. Yeah, she is totally different from when you came in and oh my gosh.

It's I mean, like if you go to a surgeon, they want to cut, if you go to a psychologist, they want to talk to you, if you want to go to a psychiatrist, they want to prescribe you drugs. I mean, it's like it's just like that.

You know, insurance doesn't cover some of the stuff. Are there payment plans though? Oh, yeah, yeah. Okay. So the best thing to do for a couple of these individuals are curious to how much it costs, and I know it differs on what it is that they need to have done.

They make it affordable. And that's what the bottom line is. And and what are you willing to spend to get yourself out of pain? Because in the long run, when you get the surgery, you're paying a lot. And that's not only in the downtime, time off you may have to take, the going back to the doctor, you get a secondary infection, you're opening up a body part, you're throwing away your knee, you can't ever get that knee back. What is the true cost of getting not not even to mention co-pays and going back and going back and the medications you have to take for pain that also cause issues down the road for your body and your gut and all that? Right. I mean, the price that you pay to get a knee replacement surgery when there is another option for you, and d I mean it's just ridiculous. It doesn't make sense to me.

And they don't tell you to get a replacement that your knees will be swollen for eight months to a year. They don't they don't tell you you're gonna have pain or other problems.

Once they cut you open. There's no safe surgery. Yeah. And um, but I mean sometimes you need surgery. Yeah, and so be it.

I've sent people for it, and I said prep for it. But even uh I had a patient and he had to have hip surgery. I mean, we he we he wasn't a candidate and his hip was that bad, and we sent him for hip surgery. Uh and for some reason they did the posterior and then they hit a nerve and he's got a foot drop for for the rest of his life. Oh my gosh.

Yeah, two people say that they had this done. Uh one with you saying it's great. Yeah, wonderful. Both knees. Both knees. Love it. Yeah. So and not Jeremy.

Well, let me push them over. Let me give them a little push. Push them on our side of the fence. Yes, yeah. Yeah, I mean, think about how much you pay for insurance. I mean, I had a ten thousand dollar deductible and so many other things. It just it it's the care. You have to go back to the the diligence of the care that happens every week, two, three times a week that you get from Dr. Pulk. The attention that you get from his office. And where do you live? I live out in Conway, out in the country. Okay.

Okay, because I often hear it's like, oh, he's in nine on Ninth Avenue in Conway. It's too far for me. But I've spoken to people that travel from Pauli's Island. I come from the city of Myrtle Beach. It's worth it.

Absolutely. It's absolutely worth it. I would, I like I said, like everyone says, I wish I would have known and been able to do it. I waited so long to get my knee surgery. One thing I wanted to add because of my weight, I'm a little, I'm a little bigger than most women. So I had to wait almost two years. Two years to save my money to be able to pay my deductible, to get the insurance, to get this done. Okay. Then to find out that I was allergic to the bandage. Oh, and that was a terrible.

Some kind of irritation, some kind of infection. It was oozing, and the doctor was like, No blood, it's fine. By the time I went back to the doctor, when he pulled that off, it was like it looked like chopped meat. It was terrible. Terrible. That is so dangerous for your health. Yes. Yeah.

Yeah, they don't tell you anything about that when you get surgery. This might be that might happen. All that is opened.

Yeah, and you know, God forbid you watch a video prior to getting a knee replacement or hip surgery. You would never do it. When they get that sledgehammer out, get that. That's what I said.

And we have a we just open up the parking lot and then close the street off and have a big party in the street. We have food, we have uh music, yeah. You know, icebox, the DJ. Because we we did have rain that day. We had a big storm, and so we had to go to the rain date, and we need the DJ quick. And she's like, use icebox, he's great. He's he's fantastic, awesome. So much fun, so much fun. Yeah, that's awesome. And then we raise money for Habitat for Humanity. We do a little raffle, we get some stuff from all the the the uh stores downtown in Conway to contribute.
