SPEAKER_12

It's time to bring in the one and only Quintern. Yep, quite the fan face.

SPEAKER_06

Good morning, everybody. Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_12

We heard uh we heard we love the Quintern.

SPEAKER_06

Really? Oh my gosh. Well, I've missed all my fans in the almost two weeks I've been gone now because of the plane delay. Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_02

Then we told your girlfriend stop texting the show. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. The fan that likes him. Oh. It was a joke.

SPEAKER_12

It took me a second. I didn't understand what you were. I wasn't couching what you were throwing down. You weren't smelling what I was cooking? No, I wasn't. So, um, so Quintern, uh, did you did you put a ring on it?

SPEAKER_06

I did not put a ring on it.

SPEAKER_12

Oh man, you slacka. You're such a slacker.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh. No.

SPEAKER_12

How did it go? Did you get her a gift?

SPEAKER_06

It was wonderful. Yeah. What'd you get her?

SPEAKER_12

Well, it's a ring. With all the money you make here as a quint. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I know I'm rolling the.

SPEAKER_12

Five years. Come on. What are you waiting for? You gotta you gotta steal the deal. You can't let them get away. You know, girls start to think five years, no commitment. You know? You look like you had a like a wild time in New York. Were you up? Were you up late?

SPEAKER_02

I was just accentuating, put a ring on it.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, no, no. I could tell.

SPEAKER_02

No, I could tell. You know, in his defense, I waited seven years. Bunch of people. But here's why, though. Why? Because we are in the process of getting our lives on track. Moving here.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, on track.

SPEAKER_02

Establishing our careers. Took her all of two seconds because she's a nurse.

SPEAKER_12

Javi was like, we gotta get married. We gotta get married right away. You want to marry right away.

SPEAKER_02

I wasn't gonna marry her until I had my foot in the door at a radio station. So once I did that, and I was full-time for a year, and we purchased our home.

SPEAKER_12

Oh my god. So many. And then only until then you said, let's go. You bought the home, you get the j come on.

SPEAKER_06

I feel like it's not that crazy. I feel like that's honestly that's a great mindset. That's the kind I want to go in with because right now she lives in Charleston. I live here.

SPEAKER_12

Oh, she's she's Canadian.

SPEAKER_06

Is she your Canadian girlfriend? We talked about this.

SPEAKER_14

She really does exist.

SPEAKER_02

Where'd you come from?

SPEAKER_14

Canada.

SPEAKER_02

What's her name? Canadia. Oh, so she doesn't exist.

SPEAKER_06

This is this is my uh beautiful girlfriend. Her name is Ottawa.

SPEAKER_11

I mean, right, exactly. All right.

SPEAKER_07

So Ottawa. So is she really dummy list? Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_12

Oh, you didn't meet like some, you know, AI girl.

SPEAKER_07

Took a whole trip to New York with just Chat GPT on my phone.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, exactly. Look at the beautiful sights. No, no, it was great. She said, let's meet up at the parking garage. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Uh no, we have a ton of photos of the trip. Yeah, it was great.

SPEAKER_12

It was a wonderful trip. What'd you do?

SPEAKER_06

Um the big thing that we did, we saw Proof on Broadway, wonderful show. Okay. It had um Ao Adebre, Don Sheetle were the big names in it. But it was a small cast, uh excellent show, if no one has seen it before, about living with a loved one who's going into mental decline. It's a it's a great, hard-hitting show.

SPEAKER_12

Wow.

SPEAKER_06

Excellent, very funny and very heartfelt.

SPEAKER_12

Really? Does it end well?

SPEAKER_06

I'd say so. I would say it does have a good ending. Okay. I mean, it's up to interpretation, depending on how you feel about some things.

SPEAKER_13

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I would spoil it for everyone.

SPEAKER_13

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

But uh go read it, go watch it.

SPEAKER_13

All right.

SPEAKER_06

Um, and aside from that, we had just spent some time with friends that we hadn't been able to see in years, and it was excellent, and we just got a very uh ground level look at the.

SPEAKER_12

Are any of them married?

SPEAKER_06

No.

SPEAKER_12

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I think a lot of people, you know, a lot of people. A lot of people. Plenty of people, not just me, are uh, you know, uh trying to not immediately jump into marriage. I don't know what it is. I think a lot of people are I know.

SPEAKER_12

My son's not married yet.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_12

He's gonna be 31.

SPEAKER_02

She lives in Canada. She lives in Canada. You wouldn't know her.

SPEAKER_12

You wouldn't know her. You wouldn't know her. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's from The Breakfast Club, by the way.

SPEAKER_12

That's so funny. Wow, that long ago?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Dang. I feel old. Um That's that's when the uh the dirt ball character says, Yeah. Yeah, Brian's a virgin.

SPEAKER_11

She's from Canada, you know. She goes to another school. Right. You know, that's not how we used to be, right?

SPEAKER_12

Yeah. She's from another school, another county. That's what we used to say when we were in high school. Like the boys, like if they had another girl, like a girlfriend, and they'd be like, Oh, here's your girlfriend, and they'd be like, Oh, she goes to another school. You wouldn't know her.

SPEAKER_06

That's the thing too. We never had that because growing up we had the internet, so everyone was just if they wanted live, they'd go, like, all right, let me look for it. Show me. We're e-dating. You don't, you know, we talk online.

SPEAKER_12

E-dating?

SPEAKER_06

We talk online, you don't you wouldn't. Is that a thing?

SPEAKER_12

E-dating?

SPEAKER_06

Uh yeah, e-dating is a thing.

SPEAKER_02

It's just an extension of speed dating.

SPEAKER_12

You could you imagine us going speed dating?

SPEAKER_02

You and I?

SPEAKER_12

I can't even imagine like how the person on the other side of the table would feel. Oh, they would. We are a little much.

SPEAKER_06

Start backing their chair out, just sweeping you over there.

SPEAKER_02

Like four hours later. And 27 participants later. Yeah, I didn't get up with anything, did you? No. Well, I guess we're dating.

SPEAKER_06

You know, guys, there's a fun corner over there. It's a special speed dating event. You can go over there and do that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Keith, uh, by the way, Keith, one of the uh the uh budget blind's text list of deplorables uh individuals. Uh also head problems, same as you. You and I talked about this briefly. He he just got home, I think, right? Are you home, Keith? Because they were going to try again yesterday morning. He didn't say, but he was also probably on the same flight, headed back to Myrtle Beach.

SPEAKER_12

Was it because of that big hurricane, Bertha?

SPEAKER_02

No, that's way further south. New York? Keith was in yeah, that's in Texas area in Gulf.

SPEAKER_12

Bertha's in the big storm that was barreling towards Pennsylvania. That's not Bertha.

SPEAKER_06

There was a very large storm in the area, and because it was, I believe because it was southward bound, it was hard to book any flights there. I because during my time there too, it was very nice. Unfortunately, I got caught up in the wildfires, like all of the smoke from the wildfire.

SPEAKER_12

Canadian wildfire.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, the fact that all of Canada's been lit on fire and the smoke trailed.

SPEAKER_12

Why we talk so much about Canada? Yeah, I was choking down here with this Canadian smoke.

SPEAKER_06

Keith is home, so it's crazy though. I have photos of some days we were out. We had gone to a museum and the entire city.

SPEAKER_12

Wow, they said it's very dangerous. Did you breathe it in?

SPEAKER_06

It was. We uh Did you wear masks? We we found one.

SPEAKER_12

No, they told everybody to wear masks because of the smoke.

SPEAKER_06

No, we did. Whenever we got home, you we you could look at the inside in between the filter, it was like completely gray. Yeah. Like it was uh what we needed, but the sun turned red at one point. It looked like apocalyptic.

SPEAKER_12

We had gone to see Oh man, that's dang.

SPEAKER_06

It was it was nuts. But because of that, all of the smoke and ash in the air, it had manifested as what they called mud rain, which is all of the ash congealed in the storm clouds that were approaching.

SPEAKER_12

The rain became it can't be good for flying.

SPEAKER_06

No, no, it was not. And uh right as we hit the airport, the skies were pretty sunny, and then out of nowhere it all just floods in, and the skies turn completely dark. And it was it was they cancel the flight?

SPEAKER_12

Is that when they cancelled it?

SPEAKER_06

Uh or is that the day you flew? That that was uh the day they canceled the flight, but they didn't cancel it the moment the rain came. It was the worst experience I've ever had.

SPEAKER_12

So you were stuck at the airport.

SPEAKER_06

We I more than that, I was stuck in the plane. So they delayed the flight by an hour for boarding. Okay. It started raining, and we were like, well, maybe it'll clear up by the time we board. They load us all onto the plane, and then they go, We should be good for takeoff in about 15 minutes, and then 15 minutes pass, and uh and it's not his fault. No, of course not. But the pilot goes, All right, we're coming across some interference, we're gonna have to just sit tight, we're gonna be uh taxied in the runway for a little while and cut to three hours later, and they hit the legal limit for the uh Federal Travel Association, I think.

SPEAKER_12

Because they used to keep us on on planes for like six hours.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_12

And people would be starving, they'd be clawing at the window. I've been on those planes. People express.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Back.

SPEAKER_12

Do you remember that airline, People Express?

SPEAKER_06

I don't.

SPEAKER_12

Oh my god. But there was uh it's like a tunican in the air.

SPEAKER_06

There was the uh three-hour delay. Sorry, Charlie. Turned into a four-hour delay. They load us all.

SPEAKER_12

So then they cancelled everything.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they canceled everything. Pretty much every flight at that airport was completely cancelled. And that was all they say why? The the the weather. Oh, so they said it is too unsafe to fly pretty much anywhere out of here, but especially southbound because of where the storm is headed, we'd just be following its path and there's no openings. Luckily though, uh, we got a flight attendant to the uh help desk right outside of the uh voting station. They put everyone there, and they were like, if you can either rebook, you can get a refund. And some people were not that lucky because because everything was scrambled. JFK wasn't able to do it, so two of the biggest airports in the Northeast were scrambling to rebook, so everything was a nightmare. But luckily, me and my girlfriend managed to get tickets back in uh Monday day, but of course I had to miss the show that day. And they managed to rebook us to first class free of charge, which was very nice.

SPEAKER_15

Wow!

SPEAKER_06

And not every and not everyone got that because those were those snagged immediately. I've never flown first class. It was pretty nice. I mean it it was mostly just a lot of leg room for that one because it was a uh a pretty quick flight, but no, it was it was very good. Um very kind, I thank the attendant, I don't remember her name, but who helped us. But I mean it was uh so bad. Some people were not as lucky. Yeah. I remember there were some people um ahead of us that because you know tickets were becoming available, they were becoming not available, so they couldn't snag some of the good ones, and there was this older woman who was in a wheelchair, and she was like, What do you mean? I just heard her shout, what do you mean Wednesday?

SPEAKER_15

Oh god.

SPEAKER_06

And this was Saturday, and I was like, Oh, being stuck in New York, and she's like, I don't have the money to do this.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's interesting you bring that up. Uh Keith gave us an update, said, Yeah, I'm home yesterday. Ground stop in Albany missed our connecting flight. Hour later, we boarded uh for let's see, another plane, another terminal. He's having problems. They were also told you may not get back until Saturday. Yep. So, but he did arrive last night, um 9 p.m.

SPEAKER_12

Also in New York. He was in New York.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he said uh made it home at nine. Yes, in New York. Uh, and they started at noon. And that Allegiant said they wouldn't be able to rebook until August 1st. Whoa! So he was very lucky to get out of there. And then the second question from Essential Deplorable.

SPEAKER_14

That's insane.

SPEAKER_02

My question would be are Canadian girlfriends immune to Canadian smoke?

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, that's a good question, actually.

SPEAKER_02

So I don't know. It made her stronger, which was very interesting. Excellent. Anyway, so there you go.

SPEAKER_12

I think I think that's what's causing my allergy attack. Like, I'm just my eyes, my nose, my throat. Or is there something um Albany coming from? Oh, spawning? I don't think so.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's the smoky smoke. It's the smoke.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, I'm very allergic to forest fires and those anything any wood burning, I'm very allergic to I was about to say, I think they did mention, although it's not as heavy as it was up there, it's kind of being caught downwind. Oh, yeah. Just because it's again like all of Canada, right? There's a huge like wildfires bursting out everywhere.

SPEAKER_12

This has happened in the past, but um I don't remember it in uh uh affecting me this much. But yeah, I guess um that look those pictures that you had were amazing.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, those are great.

SPEAKER_12

It is it does look like the end of the world, my God. All right, 621, the quintern is back, safe and sound. We'll be back in a moment.

Oh dear God. Car wreck uh coming out of Conway in between the two bridges on 501. I'm going to uh head over to the uh SC D OT and see if we can get any reports there. But thank you, Jimbo, and be safe. Stand by for incoming info. Wow.

SPEAKER_12

You know, um I follow that Myrtle Beach scanner. I gotta go on there and see if there's anything on there about it.

SPEAKER_02

But Jimbo just said it doesn't look real serious. Oh, good. So yeah, that's good. And it being that it's this early, maybe we can get that thing cleaned up and won't have any uh traffic and tanglements later. So I'll look, I'll look. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_12

Um, I was gonna say that um I saw this really disturbing thing that I think it was at a resort in the city of Myrtle Beach. Yeah, I have a newfound respect for I always did, but now that I'm reading the Myrtle Beach scanner, because I I don't even know what's going on in the mic, people block over. And I mean, there are people being found unconscious behind stores drug overdoses. One was a suicidal eight-year-old. Can you imagine that?

SPEAKER_02

No, I can't. What these are all the cultures are on this eight-year-old's mind. I don't understand.

SPEAKER_12

Not only that, but the fact that they would look to that as a solution. Right. You know, like even that's like that's a whole nother thing, right? Um missing children on the beach. I cannot believe how many missing children reports are on children at resorts, missing children at the resort. Um and one of them was a shooting on Ocean Boulevard, something involving a cop or something. And you know, we don't get these stories, but they're on the scanner. So uh, and you can actually, you know, hear the the the audio on the scanner. You could literally listen to it. The calls. Now these are calls, so when they go, you know, are they founded, are they not founded? You know, it's like that.

SPEAKER_02

Uh question for you. I don't have Facebook, and that's where this thing lives, correct? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. The feeling I get from just looking at a lot of the uh budget blinds text line people that tell us, hey, I heard on the scanner, I heard on, you know, and they tell us that stuff.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah. And it's like, well, I I sometimes it takes like a day. Right. And it's it's usually accurate.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's what I'm saying. Seems to be really ahead of the curve because we kind of live for some reason or another, and I don't know why, in a local news vacuum where we get very little bit, and I understand, you know, I I I don't even know why. But the point I'm trying to make is is it we're getting it quicker now because of Scanner? Is Scanner kind of shining the light on some of these things where we normally wouldn't hear about? I get that feeling. But I don't know because I don't have Facebook, so I don't have the scanner thing. But I'm just going by what a lot of people say.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, and it's it's very interesting. I mean, there's like um, you know, multiple fights, uh there's one um you know, people post their own videos, you see. And they post their own cell phone videos of what they see, like a like a screenshot or whatever, but you can literally listen to calls. Um it's one was this one here. Someone's saying no.

SPEAKER_02

Shock. But I don't understand what this is.

SPEAKER_12

Well I could play this right here.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, play it. Just do what you're doing. Listen.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, wait.

SPEAKER_06

That's a screenshot. That's a screenshot. Hold on.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, I'm gonna have to find the original.

SPEAKER_06

Screenshot or shock. Scanning. Yeah. But uh this is a public page, right? Yeah. Yeah. I I think my mom might follow it because I remember a few months back I was out at brunch with some friends, and there was a shooting nearby at a Publix, and I remember the moment it happened, she texted me before we got the alert on our phones that something was happening. She saw it on this. Yes.

SPEAKER_12

That's how I saw it. So I just left the Publix.

SPEAKER_06

Whoa.

SPEAKER_12

It happened because I live by that Publix.

SPEAKER_06

Wow.

SPEAKER_12

It happened like right after.

SPEAKER_06

I was like down the street from it at that time. That's crazy, too.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, it was really scary.

SPEAKER_02

Someone said that that uh again, very few details. We didn't get a chance to cover it yesterday, but those the the fight that led to some shots being fired outside of that bar. Ziggy's no no uh International Club International or whatever it is. No, this is on Waukama Boulevard, which is down from the fireworks.

SPEAKER_11

How long ago?

SPEAKER_02

This weekend. Oh yeah, and it was because of the scanner reports that that actually forced some of the local news agencies to kind of reveal, but we still have very little details.

SPEAKER_12

You know, I thought something happened by um on Lake Arrowhead Road.

SPEAKER_02

Could be. I was just referencing that one in particular. We still don't know. You know, it did it involve the bar? Maybe not. It was outside, so you can't blame. Right, so you can't blame, but did the people, were they in there and then the fight spilled out? Because it started with a fight and ended with gunshots. I'm trying to dig up the information here. I do remember hearing that. Here it is. This was updated on the 20th, some Monday. It happened over the weekend. Shots fired, and they're saying now this is this is updated. Shots were fired at a Myrtle Beach area pub over the weekend. When I initially saw it, they said outside on Wacama Boulevard. So they weren't, they were careful not to uh, I guess, implicate. But anyway, Pub International, that's what it's called. 3218 Wacoma Boulevard said the confrontation between the individuals led to a shooting outside the building and near a fireworks store. So that is, if you know the area, you know where Phantom Fireworks is? Right across like this little alley kind of thing that you can access to from the main road. Uh Ori County Police Department spokesperson Ashley Bowles said that after the shooting, a victim later arrived at a local hospital, non-life-threatening gunshot wound, thankfully, said preliminary invest investigation indicates the victim was an uninvolved bystander. Can you imagine? You're just outside, maybe in between businesses. Sometimes people like to go there and then they they hop down to McGoose and stuff. You know, they go back and forth. So this person, not even involved, got struck during an exchange of gunfire between multiple individuals. Suspects left the scene prior to the officer's arrival. The pub said everyone is believed to be safe. We want our community to know this incident did not begin inside our establishment. Okay, this is updated stuff, so this is good. Our staff and security acted quickly and appropriately in response to the situation. This is the first incident of this nature we have experienced, and it is heartbreaking and unsettling for everyone involved. I believe so. Pub says they remain committed to providing safe environment for gas, blah, blah, blah. No other comments. Officers are currently reviewing surveillance footage following investigative leads. Wow. And that's unfortunate. I my wife and I stopped in there for lunch once. Because it, you know, it was new. We used to be, well, what did it used to be called? Oh, I can't think of it. We knew somebody who was the manager there. Ay, ay, ay.

SPEAKER_12

This happened on. Ron Johns. Sunday?

SPEAKER_02

Sunday. It used to be called Ron Johns for the longest time. Oh, they have video?

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, here's the video of it. Okay. Well, this um this is what I was talking about, Lake Arrowhead Road the other night. Something happened there, too. I don't know. A lot of fights in North Myrtle Beach. What is that about lately? So I heard that uh, you know that Fridays that's abandoned on the corner of 76th and um 17 business.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, we just kind of were in that area.

SPEAKER_12

So there was uh Sunday morning we're driving down towards the beach, and we see massive graffiti on the sides of the building. Oh man. And I was like, what is this graffiti? I I took pictures of it. Um I wasn't sure if it was gang related, but there were like names of people. Like it sounded like, you know, uh obviously pseudonyms, but like strange. And um, what was another name I forgot? But anyway, so I saw these names and I was trying to make out what the words said, but it was like graffiti words. And um uh one side was already painted over by the time we went out last night, so that was good. But I heard they're going to uh bulldoze that and make a Parker's gas station.

SPEAKER_06

Really? Being in a lot of those recently.

SPEAKER_12

I know, I've never heard of them, and there's like a lot of them. So, and you said there's like the Royal Farms is also spreading?

SPEAKER_02

Right over here, and I start that's starting to pick up. They're from I believe Maryland, they're known for their chicken.

SPEAKER_12

Huh.

SPEAKER_02

And let me tell you something. Really good chicken.

SPEAKER_12

Oh, you tried it?

SPEAKER_02

We did, we had to stop in. It's like, oh, we like chicken.

SPEAKER_12

Do you know how they make it?

SPEAKER_02

Uh well, there's deep fried and they have curled.

SPEAKER_12

Really?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, but the deep fried is.

SPEAKER_12

Are they like a farm? Yes. Like literally their own farm?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they open up these little things from, I believe, Maryland. I think. Don't quote me, I'm pretty sure. Because I looked up the history. And not related to the Parker, even though they're very similar.

SPEAKER_12

They look very similar. I know.

SPEAKER_06

Not really that you're talking about Royal Farms.

SPEAKER_12

Right down here by the world.

SPEAKER_06

I've never heard of that, Royal Farms.

SPEAKER_02

And their whole thing is yes, they have their own like family-owned arm farm. They did. Okay. And it was like a chicken thing. It was like little chicken stops. And then, of course, the added gas and little minor convenience stuff. But their focus is the chicken. And it's it's good. Really? Here to tell you, it's good. It's good chicken.

SPEAKER_12

Is it like rotisserie?

SPEAKER_02

Uh well, it's like it's southern deep fried chicken. It's good. But you can't get grilled. There is that option for that. You can get sandwiches, you can get it by the bucket. I mean, you know.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh, I'm looking at their website. They have whoa, chickenpalooza. 12 bucks for that, I guess.

SPEAKER_12

Oh my god, that is a heart attack in a bucket. I know. It's okay to have once in a while.

SPEAKER_13

No, it's not. Sure. A heart attack? No. No, the the chicken in the bucket. No, no, no, no. Sans heart attack. Don't do it. Don't do it. I had I had a couple pieces. It was good. Yeah, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_06

So did my girlfriend from Canada. Right!

SPEAKER_02

After or before she removed the smoke mask. Let's stop talking.

SPEAKER_03

When nothing seems certain. One thing is the Liz Callaway show with Nick Summers every weekday morning right now.

SPEAKER_02

You're talking about kids left on the beach?

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

No, lost. Lost. Okay, well, listen to this. This is Mike the AR guy, and I can't open it because I don't have a Facebook account. It's on our budget blinds text line. You can look at that link. He said, We're part of a charity uh call, Isaiah 117 House. Place for kids that are removed from homes, works with the department, you know, children and all that. So the family services, all that says uh lots of crap parents. Yeah, he used a different word. Yeah, come to uh Myrtle Beach on vacation, check out of the apartment and leave their kids behind because they don't want them. I'm telling you what he said. What? And then he gives you a link to this house that he's a part of. Happens every year. It's hard to believe how bad some people are, these parents. And then you click on, and I can't open it, but you can click on Isaiah 117 House of Ori County. They do it looks like won't let me open the house. Can you imagine there's a need for this? I I know, and I can't believe, and I there's no reason not to believe this guy. I believe what he's telling me.

SPEAKER_12

Providing physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement.

SPEAKER_11

Isaiah 117 house.com. What in the world is that about?

SPEAKER_02

And again, why, sadly, do we need something like that? But apparently we do. Can you imagine coming on vacation, checking into an apartment or a resort?

SPEAKER_12

I mean, that's how we got Bailey that someone left her behind, but that's a dog who leaves their kid behind like that. Well, I guess if you lock them, if you don't want them and you lock them in the uh hotel, someone eventually is gonna find them within 12 hours, right? It's better than just leaving them on the street, I guess.

SPEAKER_11

Or in a hot car.

SPEAKER_02

I don't understand it. I can't imagine that. There's again things put that in the category of things I don't want to wrap my head around to try to understand.

SPEAKER_12

That's crazy. I don't get it.

SPEAKER_11

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_12

Um, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Dr. M says uh he checked the wildfire map. There's no smoke here, so Liz might have something else going on. That's from Dr. M.

SPEAKER_14

No smoke, huh? That's what he says. Who's Dr. M?

SPEAKER_02

He's on the budget blinds text.

SPEAKER_14

What kind of doctor?

SPEAKER_02

What kind of doctor? I uh smoke doctor. Smoke doctor. Uh I'm adding them on our list because we didn't have them. So I'm glad he signed his name.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah. Yeah, I got I got this thing going. Like my eyes have really irritated, and it's it's been going on for like a month. And I think it's um, I think it's I'm allergic to something. I saw a lot of like little pink flowers blooming. Uh I don't know if it's that. I don't know if it's because I don't know. Well, I know it's not me because we've been together for a while. How many years? You would have I would if I have if I were allergic to you, we would have known by now. That's what I'm thinking.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm I'm safe yet again.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, exactly. Oh, did that Twitter thing upload yet?

SPEAKER_02

I I have it. It's all over the place. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_12

I don't know what your problem is. I deleted our thing on my Facebook. Look, it's not here yet. Can't you just like send it to me in a message? Notifications, okay. There I am.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_12

Thank God you exist.

SPEAKER_02

Liz is not one sec. Twitter is a good idea.

SPEAKER_12

How come it's not it's not showing up on my Twitter?

SPEAKER_02

Well you gotta check your notifications. And then do it. Well, no, you've been tagged. Now you can share it by reposting it. Like it. And then if you want, click in the corner and download the video and then put it up on Facebook.

SPEAKER_12

Repost. Alright. Quinturne's doing it for me. Copy video address, post video. Oh my gosh. Download video. I don't know. I'm gonna unfollow you, Nikki. What? I'm only kidding. Share video. Oh, we could try that. Share video via maybe Facebook. Alright, so we're all distracted because we were out late last night.

SPEAKER_06

Where were you at?

SPEAKER_12

Birthday. It was my birthday. Happy birthday. Oh my gosh. It was my birthday. And um we went to Crave over on 74th Avenue in Myrtle. Wonderful. And Nikki's uh friend was strumming the guitar. Man. And uh Rosie or Rosa.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know her. It's the first time I've seen her, but she's a wonderful voice, beautiful.

SPEAKER_12

She's a great singer, very sweet girl. Um it turned out she used to take Javi's yoga classes long ago. She was a dancer at Carolina Opry. She looks so familiar to me because I've seen like years ago, I saw so many Carolina Opry shows back. I used to we used to get tickets all the time.

SPEAKER_06

Small world. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_12

It was so funny. She came over. Javi was like, oh. Okay, I think I'm posting the video. It's it's not really doing it right.

SPEAKER_06

It at least shared it. So it's out there.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, wait, that's not what I mean.

SPEAKER_12

It's out there in the world. Alright, at least shared it because my audio was not working because my obviously microphone was dead. How come I didn't notice that it was dead?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. Mine at least will blink at me saying hey.

SPEAKER_12

See, it's only putting like the hyperlink. It's not putting the actual video.

SPEAKER_02

You gotta download the video.

SPEAKER_12

Dude, I'm trying to. Even the quintern can't do it.

SPEAKER_02

Even I can't. You gotta open up the page. You can do it on your phone because I've done this before. Open up your phone, click on the little three dots, save video.

SPEAKER_12

Okay, let me do it on my phone. Why? Why is this complicated? Dr.

SPEAKER_02

M is not a doctor. It's actually just his initials. D-R-M. I said, we're going with Dr. M.

SPEAKER_06

That's awesome. I know. Dr. M, that's so good. You're Dr. M now, buddy. I saved you that way. You shouldn't have given medical advice and had those initials, buddy.

SPEAKER_02

This person didn't. This person just said he checked the nap and there's no smoke in the area.

SPEAKER_14

Dude, look. Nothing like save video, see? Give me that thing. Give me that. I'm coming over that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I don't. It's not on the computer either, I don't think. Well, X did change a lot of stuff the last week or so. That is true.

SPEAKER_13

All right. Okay, look, you gotta open it. I got okay, it's open. Hit the three dots. Okay. The save save video.

unknown

He's a guitar instructor.

SPEAKER_03

Used to.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, they changed it.

SPEAKER_12

Okay, so I'm a dippy-doo and I'm the dippy-doo. I'm the dippy-doo.

SPEAKER_06

Uh I think there's a way to do it where you can you can paste the link into a YouTube to MP4 file or one of those types of things so you can get it into a downloadable video. It's it requires a third-party thing. It's a whole ordeal.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, maybe it's add to offline. Oh, you have to upgrade with premium. Oh that's why they changed it. You used to be able to download them. I have premium, so maybe that's why I can just down I can download them.

SPEAKER_12

Download it and send it to me. Oh, for Pete's sake. Oh my gosh. I am just I've yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_12

Okay. Uh so the world is burning, and uh so the uh so the official sign uh sign-up has gone on. The filing for South Carolina Senate has been going on. And we got four candidates so far. Oh, since you've been gone, Senator Lindsey Graham died.

SPEAKER_06

I I remember getting we woke up early in the morning to get ready for the airport.

SPEAKER_12

Sunday morning.

SPEAKER_06

And I yeah, and I was like, uh, I hope nothing eventful happens when I'm missing work. And I immediately looked down at my phone and I just let my jaw drops because the first news is Lindsey Graham dead. It was unbelievable.

SPEAKER_12

I just remember going very shocking.

SPEAKER_06

Uh yeah.

SPEAKER_12

I still don't believe it happened. I mean it's like Don't believe it happened. No, I mean I obviously it happened. But I'm saying I can't believe that it that we don't have Lindsey Graham anymore. Like I just cannot believe it. Out of nowhere. It's very hard to comprehend how someone is like in Ukraine comes home and dies.

SPEAKER_06

Sister took over, right?

SPEAKER_11

Don't remind me.

SPEAKER_06

Would you feel good going in for surgery? And the uh the attendant goes, I'm so sorry, your doctor actually passed away last night, who was one of the only people that could help perform the surgery. Don't worry. Uh his sister's coming in to do the surgery instead. And she's from Canada. The Canadian sister's coming in, she's got smoke on her hands still, but it'll be fine.

SPEAKER_15

Oh gosh.

SPEAKER_02

No, that would not make me feel. I did some digging. You can no longer download the videos and stuff and pictures. You know why? Why? It's what it's why why?

SPEAKER_15

Okay, all right.

SPEAKER_02

Uh because they're trying to crack down on uh content thievery. Um people were stealing everybody else's content and passing it off as their own. So now they've removed it. You know, Facebook did that a long time ago. Can't download stuff usually. You can download your own, but you can't go to somebody else's post and download a picture usually. When I was on Facebook anyway, that was just eight years ago. Uh point is, I think that's part of the rollout. So X is making it hard for you.

SPEAKER_12

So you lied to me.

SPEAKER_02

Well, no, it's part of the changes, which I used to do. Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Liars.

SPEAKER_12

I used to do it all the time. Well, why can't I share it as a video onto my Facebook? You need a different app.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. There's a way to make it work.

SPEAKER_04

Probably.

SPEAKER_12

No, there's not. It's just not working. And I can't stand it.

SPEAKER_13

Alright.

SPEAKER_12

You two are no help at all.

SPEAKER_02

Nope, not at all. As a matter of fact, I'm going home. I'll call Canadian Texables. My job is done here.

SPEAKER_12

The problem, I'll tell you what the problem is. See, you guys, we're trying. I we went Facebook Live this morning and Twitter video this morning, and my live video, my microphones were dead, so we didn't have any audio.

SPEAKER_02

I know.

SPEAKER_12

So now I'm trying to share his Twitter video of our Facebook Live. And um it's just coming up as a link, so you'll have to click on the link to watch it.

SPEAKER_11

Oh well. So, whatever.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, we gotta go. All right, go already.

SPEAKER_03

This is the Liz Callaway Show with Nick Summers back in a bit.
