SPEAKER_01

7726. So I have to do a Conway Ford shoot today. I gotta get new headphones. I forget every day until I come in and then I can't hear anything.

SPEAKER_04

I thought you solved that problem with the uh Oh yeah, what happened to that thing? It's there somewhere.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, let me see.

SPEAKER_04

Hold on. That one won't won't work with yours because it's a screw on one. Use the other one.

SPEAKER_02

I don't have another one. Oh, here it is.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, there, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Look at that.

SPEAKER_04

All right. Is it better? Better? Better? Better?

SPEAKER_01

Let me see.

SPEAKER_04

Say hello.

SPEAKER_01

Hold on. Hello, dear.

SPEAKER_04

Hello. Say hello.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that is better.

SPEAKER_04

There you go.

SPEAKER_01

I forgot.

SPEAKER_04

I'm here to remind you.

SPEAKER_01

You make it a bit more.

SPEAKER_04

Can you put that in writing and send that to my wife? Everything better. Oh, I can hear it.

SPEAKER_01

So amazing. I forgot yesterday and I was like one ear to all show.

SPEAKER_04

It's so annoying.

SPEAKER_01

It's like off balance.

SPEAKER_04

For those of you who haven't done radio before, uh, we have to listen to everything in headphones. And if you only have half of your headphones working, so I know what's it's it's for me, it's impossible. I will listen to crappy headphones from 1947 over new ones with one ear.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's not good.

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so what are we talking about? I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

It doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_01

Good show, everyone. Good night. I don't remember.

SPEAKER_02

I got distracted. Right.

SPEAKER_01

I was telling you something. It's probably not important.

SPEAKER_04

Listen, one-eared Lucy. You can't remember what you were talking about three seconds ago. I can't. It's chocolate day. Father and daughter take a walk day. Nice. So I could do that with my girls. Dive bar day, macaroni day, and tell the truth day. Oh. See?

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Um, hey. What? Um, I wanted to ask a question about Facebook market. Me or them. Well, I mean, you know, I put up the speaker system, the PV speaker system.

SPEAKER_04

And we're back to that.

SPEAKER_01

I have had about 12 people over the last three weeks.

SPEAKER_04

One word.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, hold on. Let me one word will explain everything.

SPEAKER_04

Flakes. Yeah. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

So they say, is this still available?

SPEAKER_04

That's my favorite introduction.

SPEAKER_01

And I say, No. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

I sold it months ago, but I leave it up there to get people to call me.

SPEAKER_01

I said, Yes, are you in Myrtle? Crickets. Why bother asking me? And they do this over and over. Then they make me an offer. Sometimes they make me an offer. They just put like a number. And then I put a number back. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. It's like non-stop BS. Now, I have to tell you about another situation. Uh, there was we needed uh a little work done at the house once. Okay. I saw somebody recommended a particular company. I clicked on that company, messaged them. They messaged us back. They said, We could come today if you want. I said, Oh, that would be great. And so I said, Well, you need to call me. So the person called, and he had a very heavy accent. And Javier was like, what is that? And then um, and he says, Um, you have to um Venmo me a $70 um uh deposit? Yeah. And I was like, Yeah, no, these people are lurking out there. You gotta use reputable companies. You know, sometimes it costs a little bit more. And I'm talking it could be a hundred dollars more, $150 more. You just gotta do it.

SPEAKER_04

Forty years ago, my dad said the important words to me that I'll never forget. You get what you pay for.

SPEAKER_01

You never never trust anybody.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, there's there's that much.

SPEAKER_01

Do not trust them.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, Facebook Marketplace, and someone just popped in on the budget blinds text line. Keith, it's a joke.

SPEAKER_01

It is a joke.

SPEAKER_04

It is.

SPEAKER_01

And I wanna go, I wanna go to John T. Henry auction and just bring all my stuff there. What do you think about that? I mean, they're a client.

SPEAKER_04

That's true. Um very reputable.

SPEAKER_01

They uh they have d I think they've they're like right here by the Astra Theater. Really? I think so. Am I right on that?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, let's look.

SPEAKER_01

I think they're in Conway. But I heard they like set up like a warehouse type of thing now. I gotta get all this stuff over there. I just gotta get it out of my there's so many like Culture Road in Conway.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think I'm looking to see if they have uh where's the other one?

SPEAKER_01

Has anybody ever used them?

SPEAKER_04

Also Tilly Swamp Road?

SPEAKER_01

No, that's far.

SPEAKER_04

I'm just looking to see. Yeah. Uh I don't have any other dates. Or uh I'm sorry, addresses. I'm I'm looking on is Yelp reputable generally? Okay. Uh what do we got? We got uh lot of tons of positive reviews, no surprise. But I'm looking to see. Come on.

SPEAKER_01

I thought they were here on I mean I'll I'll go to Conway. I go to Conway all the time.

SPEAKER_04

I just went to a um I'm I'm really only showing one address. According to Yelp. And I'm not finding a website for them.

SPEAKER_01

I have a website for them. Oh, well then click on that. But I don't you're right, I only see those two addresses.

SPEAKER_02

T Henry Auction.

SPEAKER_04

Let's see, they're they have an auction currently. Oh, they do online auction stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's cool.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, see, there you go. Try that. Um, assignment too, they do. Yeah, their latest auction ends on the 9th. And they do all sorts of things.

SPEAKER_02

Apparently. I'm gonna send in my name again. I would. Why not? Liz Callaway. Liz Callaway.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Kathy says the same thing. Neighbors speak highly of them.

SPEAKER_02

I'd like to consign some items ASAP. Please. They didn't call me back last time, but it was the holiday.

SPEAKER_04

That's probably it. Yeah, a lot of people popping in here on the uh budget blinds text line. Saying that uh, yeah, good people over there. So yeah, give them a try.

SPEAKER_01

All right. I I just have so much stuff. I can't I can't I can't I gotta get rid of it.

SPEAKER_04

It's like I'll be putting my PA system up too. I have to. There's no I don't need that thing anymore.

SPEAKER_01

Are you gonna bring it there if it works for me? I don't know. Or are you gonna try and sell it for yourself?

SPEAKER_04

I don't I don't know. I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do. I know I'm not gonna get anything what I put into it, but it doesn't matter. It's just taking up space, and when am I gonna use that amount of volume again? I used it with, you know, my my club band around town. It was more than enough power. We never even cranked that thing. Didn't have to, it's loud. You know, you saw us.

SPEAKER_01

I know.

SPEAKER_04

So that and uh, you know, comes with an iPad with a digital board.

SPEAKER_01

An iPad?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Well, uh a tablet. It's uh it's a uh galaxy tablet. And that's how you you run you set it up with our digital board, you plug everything into it, and I even have a snake. People who know this stuff knows what that know what that is, and you plug it into this uh to this uh thing, and then it it works on via Wi-Fi and it has its own Wi-Fi and then you can walk around and control the system from different points of the room. And you get different, you know, different uh audio points of view. It's like, oh, it sounds really good over here, but over here it's a little lacking, so I'll make up for it there. Yeah. Tim uses it. Tim the car detail guy.

SPEAKER_01

Boy, they got a whole host of things here. They have like a bike bicycle built for two, they have all this jewelry. It's pretty amazing. Oh, see, this says Myrtle Beach. Where is this Myrtle Beach? They have one in Myrtle Beach. Let me see. Let me see. Yeah, Wacama Boulevard.

SPEAKER_04

There you go. I didn't say they didn't, I just couldn't find it.

SPEAKER_01

No, I it wasn't there before. Um, but I thought I saw them have a sign right here. They rented that like empty space. Oh, there you go. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah. Keith just popped in with the address, too. There it is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. All right, very good. Yeah, I mean, uh I mean, they're selling anything and everything, so I'm gonna have to bring my stuff there.

SPEAKER_04

I like the weather alert we got from Andrew Dockery. Hours and hours of triple-digit heat.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, thanks. Yeah, thanks for that. Did you see all the rain they got up in Jersey? It collapsed the Costco roof.

SPEAKER_04

I did. We got hit over by where I live for a brief period of time. It was like not enough, right? I know not enough, but it was like, you know, just enough to make my grass grow, and I get out and mow it when it's a billion degrees.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

unknown

Whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Um what do you think? You think um the trumpet counts is uh Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I uh I downloaded the app. We're signing the kids up today. Nicolaya gets the seeded money. See, here's the app.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Nice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's a real nice app. You can log.

SPEAKER_01

So you can put both kids in there?

SPEAKER_04

Yes. And then the only thing. How does other people contribute to it? I haven't gotten that far because we do we're in the planning stages. Today we're gonna sit down and do it because we need social security numbers, all that stuff. Uh as soon as we sign up.

SPEAKER_01

You didn't sign up yet.

SPEAKER_04

And when I uh from what I understand, when I provide her social security number, they can verify that she was born during the time range where you get the thousand dollar seated money. Uh Nicolina will not get the seeded money, but I I've talked about this before. You remember when we got that first check from Trump? Remember the Trump checks? 1800 bucks? Which is probably where she'd be at. We never spin for six years. We never spent it.

SPEAKER_01

Five years.

SPEAKER_04

It sat in the bank.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And I said, we'll use that for Nicolina. Well, guess what? We'll seed her Trump account with that money. So both kids are gonna start at about the same. Yeah. And Nicola has money as she got when she was born and all that. So we'll put it all together and we'll probably both start them out at like two grand each. You know, we'll just top it off how we need. And then go from there. And anytime anybody says, What can we get Nicolina? Nicolina has enough toys. No more toys. You have seen the house.

SPEAKER_01

Toys or clothes. They don't need any toys. No, like they do not. I just can't do it anymore. I mean, I do buy jewelry because that's something personal that they can keep.

SPEAKER_04

And it will last more than a season. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Like the clothes and shoes and grows in value. By the way. Gold's not cheap. Exactly. You know, to buy anything gold is like so unbelievable now. Like a lot of people are uh, you know, either going with 10 karat or gold plated. You know, it's not or gold filled. It's really hard to find like real gold stuff.

SPEAKER_04

So that is the plan. We're gonna sit down today and uh and do that and get the ball rolling on the Trump accounts. I went live yesterday. As a matter of fact, uh, I've got since we're talking about it, I can just play this quick. It's a quick little thing. CNBC talking about it briefly.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know, families signed up more than six million children for Trump accounts ahead of the live fourth launch. That's according to the Treasury Department. About 1.4 million of them were newborns and young children who receive a one-time contribution of $1,000 from the federal government. Parents, grandparents, loved ones can contribute up to $5,000 a year, and funds are generally not accessible before age 18. But at that age, the account converts to a traditional IRA. It's awesome. Parents that I talk to believe it's a valuable investment in financial education.

SPEAKER_04

There you go. Uh, there are some individuals on the left who are saying, Oh, I'll be skipping the Trump accounts. And Mike Lee, Senator from Utah, who's behind the Save America Act, is saying, Really? You're gonna deny your constituents a great opportunity for your children because of your TDS, basically. I'm paraphrasing his post. And that's an excellent point. Because it has his name on it, they all freak out. It's like, I don't want anything to do with Trump. Yeah, it's like you're the money, and I and I've got some breakdowns, we can get into it later, but the amount of money, even if you don't contribute a dime when they're when they turn 18, I mean, you can have nearly six thousand dollars in the account. If you contribute a little something, if you max it out by the time they're 28, the money's way more than 6,000. What are you talking about? Oh, no, I'm saying, no, I'm saying if you just take the seed money, a thousand dollars and you never contribute a dime, you know, and that's can that's a conservative estimate is around six thousand dollars by the time they're eighteen. If you sit on it till and you can do the max contribu contributions, which is five thousand per year, that's not that much with family and friends and birthdays and all that stuff. You know, they could have a quarter million dollars by the time they're 18. If you continue that till they're 28, when it is ready to be whatever, yeah, one point some million dollars they'll have.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and honestly, we were just talking about stuff and how much stuff we have. Um when you look around and you add up how much you've spent on all that stuff, you will be sick. Like literally sick. And it's such a waste of money, and we have just been, you know, pilfering our wealth. Um, and you just have to, you know, stop doing that. And I hate to say that because you got to keep the economy going, right? But the uh, you know, the fast fashion, the Amazons of it all, and the Costco's and the Sam's Clubs. I mean, every time you go in there, it's you know, $300, $500, and you're buying all these gadgets and things. And um, my parents did not live that way. But yet, over 60 years, I had a house full of stuff. So to get rid of. And my parents saved a lot of money. And my dad didn't make a lot of money, you know. It he made a moderate, you know, salary and worked a side hustle. And today that is the goal. If you can work that side hustle, that I always had a side hustle. This is the first time in my life I don't have a side hustle. And you know what I'm talking about, Nick.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I do. I did one too.

SPEAKER_01

I used to have a side hustle, and that you never touch your paycheck.

SPEAKER_04

That's why we gotta get the band together.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I'm waiting for you.

SPEAKER_04

Well, the baby's getting older, it's getting a little easier.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Might have to come to the house to do little rehearsals on the couch with the acoustic.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm just saying, like, you know, there is a way to save and pay yourself first. Pay that money into your, you know. So right now I'm like on a monthly, you know, with Edward Jones and Andy Hazel, every month he takes out a huge chunk and it hurts. But at least I get to the maximum um contribution. Your target. Yeah. My target. And Javi's job, they do a match, they do a percentage match, which is like free money. You know, they do an HSA match.

SPEAKER_04

Listen, I go upstairs and I look at all my guitars and gadgets and amps, and I'm thinking to myself, what a fool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Then again, I touch the guitars and it's like, okay, I feel better.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you have way a lot. Like, so for someone who doesn't understand an emotional connection to guitars, it's a lot of guitars. Now I have a lot of things that you're like, why do you have all this jewelry?

unknown

I know.

SPEAKER_01

And I mean, it's just because I've collected it over the years. And I spent an entire weekend organizing everything and putting everything everywhere. And my son called me and his girlfriend, they they were on Facebook, I mean um FaceTime, and she's like, Where did you get all that stuff? I said, Well, hey, I've lived, I've been around a while. Somebody is on collecting this for 30 years.

SPEAKER_04

On uh my guitar Twitter, yeah, the non-political side of my uh X account, said, Post a picture of your music rooms, you know, blah, blah, blah. And I just did with no caption, I just posted all I did put a caption because it's messy because it's a little unorganized, but it's getting better. Anyway, and they said, What'd you do? Rob a guitar center? Exactly. I said, No, I've been doing this for 30, 40 years, played professionally for so long, you just acquire the guitars and I don't let them go. I have a problem. Some of them you do. I know. But sometimes I replace them.

SPEAKER_01

I know. It's usually a swap. Sorta. One for two.

SPEAKER_04

I know. We gotta go. Oh, uh update here. The 501 is clear at Red Hill in Conway, that accident that happened about an hour ago.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe it wasn't it wasn't a serious injury. Yeah, I'm hoping.

SPEAKER_04

So thank you for the update. Appreciate it. We gotta go. We're like wow.

SPEAKER_01

I'm scrolling through this uh John T. Henry auction of all the online stuff that's forbid.

SPEAKER_04

What you finding? All kinds of stuff.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, there's just so much.

SPEAKER_04

Give me an example of stuff you're finding.

SPEAKER_01

Like uh leather purses and vases and collectible like old Mickey Mouse stuff. Guitars. I have seen guitars, but um not yet. Um well, I wonder if you can search. Yeah, you can search. Guitar. Let's see. Oh yeah. Um, a Hyundai HY 113 acoustic, Kingston Classic Acoustic, BCP acoustic with soft case, vintage acoustic guitar, wood, steel, reinforced. I mean, 10 bucks, 10 bucks, eight, 18 bucks. Wow.

SPEAKER_04

Not if it sounds appealing so far.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean, you know. There's four guitars up there.

SPEAKER_04

Nice.

SPEAKER_01

Uh what about speakers?

SPEAKER_04

Maybe I'll put my uh PA up there.

SPEAKER_01

Let me see, speakers. Um, what is this? Sony SS speakers.

SPEAKER_04

Um car or home stereo.

SPEAKER_01

Looks like a car. Oh wow, that's an oldie right there. Um pulp speaker, craig speaker, uh, iPhone speaker. Oh, that's an iHome. Um G E Dell inspiration. Yeah. Wireless wireless speakers, you know, for outside. Oh, here. PV. Ah. PV SP3 Precision Transducer PA.

SPEAKER_04

Wow. That's old school, but it's cool. I remember the SP3s. Yeah. I had SP1 as a kid for my little practice PA when I was a kid.

SPEAKER_02

There you go.

SPEAKER_04

Wow. Yeah. These have seen a lot of road time. Oh, I'm sure. It'd be great for some garage band to practice with. That's what we used, you know. Old stuff. You can beat the crap out of that PV stuff and last forever.

SPEAKER_01

You just bid whatever.

SPEAKER_04

Uh yeah, that's a good question.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how this works.

SPEAKER_04

I don't either.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

I know that I'm not going to be using eBay or reverb because the shipping would kill me.

SPEAKER_02

Well.

SPEAKER_04

My big speakers that I use.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And nobody would buy it because you can buy brand new with free shipping. See how that works? I'm screwed.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

This is the Liz Callaway Show with Nick Summers back in a bit. This is a really riveting, compelling show.

SPEAKER_01

There is no news. I mean, what are we going to talk about? Trump did this, Trump did that, blah, blah, blah. I'm going to shoot them. I'm going to destroy the bridges. I'm going to. If they don't stop shooting the boats, they're not going to charge the boats. What else do we need to talk about? Russia's blowing up Ukraine. Ukraine's blowing up Russia. Israel said, don't sell those F-35s to Turkey because they wanna. And then they had the funeral, the uh the Ayatollah funeral, finally. I mean, the guy is he's gotta be smelling a little bit, but they had the funeral and uh they said, hey, Trump, you know, death to Trump, death to America, we're gonna get him back. Death to death. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Death to death. I'm going to kill you and you die from it.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I'm saying. What else do we need to talk about?

SPEAKER_04

Uh, the Babylon B. Best headline. Picture Graham Plantner. Dem's wishing.

SPEAKER_01

We always call him Plantner. It is. It's Plattiner.

SPEAKER_04

Whatever. Planter. Because he's about as smart as a plant. Dem's wishing there had been some sort of sign that Plattner was a bad person.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, right. So stupid.

SPEAKER_04

Because now they're all jumping ship, right? Oh, yeah. Okay. So, hey, here's a fun thing. Are you ready?

SPEAKER_01

I just gave all the news for. The day.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, good. Then we're done. Then do this. Uh we're being told that on 106.7 we're good, clear as a bell, but on uh 94.5 we have like an emergency alert tone going on. And uh I am monitoring that. I can't hear it, so I'm gonna have to do some checking on it. There's not a lot I can do sitting right here. I know people that are listening in 94.5 can't hear it.

SPEAKER_01

Well, how's streaming?

SPEAKER_04

Streaming working is uh let's see, I know some folks are Keith, you're streaming. It's still a loud tone. Yeah, only okay. Yeah, Tim says only on the air, so I guess streaming is fine.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Someone uh is interfering with our signal.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. They were shutting us down. Sabotage. Getting too close to the truth. All right. So you're gonna have to talk while I call the engineer. That's weird.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Um, so coming up at 7:30, we're gonna have State Representative Val Guest. He'll be joining us. Um, and you know, if there are any questions you want to ask about this um last, you know, uh round of state legislators laws and that were passed or sent to committee, or it didn't go through uh like the coercive control bill or maybe the over-the-counter ivermectin uh things that did pass, we could talk about that. But if you have questions uh for state representative Val Guest, I think he was one of the ones who voted in favor of moving that over-the-counter. And you know, sometimes these things are murky, and we need to ask why there's a, you know, why they voted a certain way. And sometimes there's a very good reason, and other times you're like, well, you could have voted that way, but um, and then fixed it later or something like that. But so I always like to ask, why did you vote that way? I need to know because sometimes it makes sense, and other times it doesn't make sense, but um, you know, it's very interesting. So, okay. Anyway, it is uh 6.48. Uh there are a lot of people texting in now on the budget blinds text line about this tone that we hear on uh engineer has been called.

SPEAKER_04

He is looking into it immediately. It is not on the website on our uh streaming app. Yeah, it is not on uh 106.7, which means it's also not on 1240 a.m. So it's just on 94.5. Somebody said, must be that forbidden topic you're on. Yeah, probably probably.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, term limits. Yeah. Um, or age limits. I mean, I don't know. You know? Uh here we are, you know, voting in Lindsey Graham again, right?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And people say, oh, well, he's got very powerful positions, and it takes a long time to get to that position and that status, and Trump needs him, and Trump said we need him. And do we? Do we really need people that we don't want anymore? He's been there long enough. Has he done anything good that we like? What don't we like about him? How what did he do? You know, everyone's been talking about the gang of eight forever, but Marco Rubio was on that crew as well. And a lot of people are talking about him running in 2028 as president, being the greatest secretary of state. He's got like four different positions. And, you know, people are talking about him being awesome. So one is enough enough. People were talking about Ralph Norman, and I said, but he was term-limiting himself into different positions. Once people get into politics, it's a pathway. They start at school board, then they go to the council, then they go to the state, then they go to federal positions. So I don't think Ralph Norman was a quote unquote career politician. I think he was, he had a uh, he was an entrepreneur, businessman, and then he moved into um, you know, state senate, and then he moved into Congress, and then he was running for governor. And I mean, I wouldn't exact I I think he served like one or two terms and moved on and moved up. I don't think that's someone who needs to be term-limited out. I think that's I think that's different. I don't think that counts if someone's moving around to different positions. If I were running, if I ran for counsel and someone said to me, Wow, you guys, you did a really great job. I think you'd be an awesome state representative or an awesome state senator, you would run. Look at what Russell Frye has done.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know, local attorney runs for state office, moves into Congress. What's next for for Russell Frye? Maybe he'll run for Senate. Maybe. Maybe he'll run for governor down the road. I mean, think about his path. That's the path. So I don't fault anybody for moving around. It's the people that stay in that one position. And then you know how it goes. Once you're in that type of position of power for a really long time, you know how to work a system or you figure it out and you start to know all the players. And then you can find all the loopholes, and then you get things to work for yourself. So yeah. So basically, that's I think it's you can't judge somebody for moving and progressing, but I but aging into oblivion, there's gotta be like you should not be allowed to do that.

SPEAKER_04

You know, as much as I appreciate like a Grassley, who at times, you know, has a lot of good things, and he certainly seems to be anyway, at least the what we're being told and what we see of you know, sound mind and body type thing. But there's another one who is in his he's gotta be in his upper eighties. I'm not even sure, but he's he's up there, and I just think it's you know, enough. You may have been good and relevant and doing right by your constituents, and who am I to second guess that? But the age thing uh, you know, when it's obvious, like Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, and a few others, it's like you're just going through the motions. Your staffers are running everything. What is really going on here?

SPEAKER_01

It's I think it's um it should be illegal.

SPEAKER_04

Well, it really should be then you got somebody like Trump who's 80, and it's like should there be an age limit there?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it has to do with you know how you have to get a driver's test automatically at a certain age.

SPEAKER_04

Well, they give them a cognitive test or whatever it's called, and you know, I from what I hear, they're not that difficult. Trump says they're hard and I haste it. Well, that's Trump being Trump. I don't know what that what it entails. This test. I have no idea. You know, Reagan in his final years was not so sharp either. He was fine until the last two years. He was starting to forget a lot of things.

SPEAKER_01

And remember his speechwriter? And he said, No, that's not true.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe he was just getting more tired, and it was seemed to be evident to people that were paying attention. Yeah. I mean, his decision making, I guess, was was pretty decent. And you're right, the speechwriter said no, he was great till the end. Okay. All right, fine. Trump is you can see it every day. Yeah. He stands in front of a a what do they call him? A gaggle of reporters and take and picks them off one by one. Yeah. No problem. He never talks in circles. He will repeat things, but he repeats, he does that intentionally.

SPEAKER_01

He's been doing that his entire life. And you repeat Epico. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

He repeats the points that he wants to drop in.

SPEAKER_01

He understands how people understand. Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. All right.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. We gotta go. Uh, by the way, uh, more than 940,000 bottles of heart and kidney medication have been recalled. So the Food and Drug Administration has issued a report that nearly one million bottles nationwide of Corlinor, the medication prescribed to treat chronic heart failure, and Sensipar, a drug treated uh used to treat chronic kidney disease. Two brand name prescription medications made by the biotech company Amgen have been recalled due to a presence of a foreign substance. The um that's for Corlinor, Sensipar were recalled due to deviations from the FDA's current good manufacturing practice, which are used to ensure quality and safety. Both of them are class two drugs. And it says here the FDA defines the situation in which one of uh or exposure to a volatile product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or uh one that is serious health consequences. And so if you are taking either one of those, Corlinor or Sensipar, um, get with your pharmacist and have them take a look at it and make sure of what your bottle says, the lot number and all that. I mean, there's almost a million affected bottles. That's a lot of drugs. Okay, we're gonna take a break and we'll be back in a moment.

SPEAKER_04

And the tone of death has ended. So we're back on just to give everybody an update.

SPEAKER_03

All right, that's it.
