Yo, you Magadon or you know Magnum?
SPEAKER_04You know Megadon.
SPEAKER_02You know Magadon. You know him. Hey, homeboy.
SPEAKER_04Hey, homeboy.
SPEAKER_02He's like, what did I walk into? What did I walk into? What's the wheel?
SPEAKER_08I walked in out of the rain.
SPEAKER_03I know that.
SPEAKER_05Look, I gotta show you my shoes quick.
SPEAKER_02You ready? Oh my gosh. He's showing his shoes. What does it say? MAGA! MAGA. Is it Mega? It's all capitals in MAGADN.
SPEAKER_03You know, you have to say it differently. No, you're not.
SPEAKER_08New hampshire.
SPEAKER_03Mega. New Hampshire. Very nasally up there.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I mean I'm from New Hampshire.
SPEAKER_03We talk different up there.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Do you? Yeah. Is it on purpose or can't be? No, no, it's just by uh the way we live. We live live for to die.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. A lot of libertarians up there.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, I moved out. Really? Well, I had a little I could never do what I'm doing here.
SPEAKER_09Really?
SPEAKER_03Up there. With with the red hats?
SPEAKER_09No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_09But they're libertarian.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_09Oh.
SPEAKER_03No. Trust me. The uh New Hampshire's turned a lot more away from red. There's a lot of stuff going on up there. I got a lot of friends up there that aren't. You mean like South Carolina? Um, well, hopefully not.
SPEAKER_02All right, MAGA Don. Um, we always give a MAGA hat uh to someone who answers the cor the question correctly and is the third correct text.
SPEAKER_03Yes, we have been doing that.
SPEAKER_02We've been doing this a long time now. I know we've like over seven years. Lots and lots of hats.
SPEAKER_03370, 380 hats just on this show alone.
SPEAKER_02Crazy. Because sometimes we did two a week.
SPEAKER_03Way back in the beginning.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And plus events. I wonder if anybody remembers what they had to do to get it back then. Do you remember?
SPEAKER_02Maybe that's the trivia question.
SPEAKER_03Well, we got to do we did that once about a year ago.
SPEAKER_02That trivia question. I do remember that, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Don't make them change his thing. It'll be knocked off his whole game the rest of the morning.
SPEAKER_02Well, the budget blinds text line is open. If you want to play, 843-798-talk 798-8255. You will win a Red Hat's America hat from MAGADON and a clock.
SPEAKER_03A fight clock. Signed by all three of us on the back.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_03And a lapel pin. And a shirt. A tu like 94. What else? Is that this five? And the coin. And oh, and the Trump 20. Oh, I've only got a few more 20, 25 Trump coins left.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So when they're gone, I I now have a full stack of 26 coins that I just got.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_03So we're and I'll tell you. I want to tell you a story about Danny later. I'm sure he's going to be listening. Okay. And he didn't have any idea who Liz was.
SPEAKER_10Excuse me?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh boy. Well, because but you know who. Well, I don't think you I don't think somebody explained it.
SPEAKER_05I'd like to introduce you to can worms.
SPEAKER_03I don't think the person that actually contacted you Pandora's box. Told him who she was going to talk to.
SPEAKER_04Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_03Wait a minute. I remember that box of uh of creamers that we had.
SPEAKER_10Remember what we did on the nipple creamers or something.
SPEAKER_04For some reason. Dairy nipples. I love the box. I just saw that the other day. You cannot listen. A man cannot throw away a box of dairy nipples. It's against all man logic. I come from the habit. It's right here. It says, look, look. Dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_07That is so funny. I can't believe it.
SPEAKER_04I don't know what made me remember that today.
SPEAKER_07I totally forgot about it. Never get rid of it. How did it get here? Kyle walked into the back door and said, hey, hey, I got some dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_03I think we almost had to turn all the mics off that morning because none of us could get back in.
SPEAKER_10Where was this box? I don't want to know. What the heck? All right. Back to what we were talking about.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so you win all that and more.
SPEAKER_02And and oh wait, this guy doesn't know me. No. I only facilitated the whole operation. Person? Whatever.
SPEAKER_05But I I bet he knows what a dairy nipple is.
SPEAKER_03All right, we're gonna do this now and talk about that.
SPEAKER_05I want to finish this. How does this joker not know who Liz is? So now, but yet he's a listener. He wants to listen. Are you don't ignore me. I'm looking, I'm talking to you. I'm talking to her. I'm talking to you. I'm on first. I don't care who's on third. Dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_10Dairy Nipples is sliding home.
SPEAKER_03So when you gave me the the business card action and the number, I called him. And I said, Hi Danny, this is Megadon. Oh, hi, how are you doing? I said, Liz asked me if you would like to talk to me about giving you a hat. Liz? I didn't talk to Liz.
SPEAKER_02No, that's true.
SPEAKER_03No, but I sent you the and so but he didn't he didn't that's what I'm saying. He didn't connect your name when I said Liz asked me to get a hold of you. And and then as we're talking, I went up, I met him down at Wendy's on the on Carolina Forest. And I was talking to him and he was talking about this and that, you know, thing. Liz. And I said, Liz is the one that got a hold of me. And he said, No, it was Pat.
SPEAKER_02Right? Patty, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, Patty got a hold of you. You got a hold of me.
SPEAKER_02She said, Can you get me a hat? I go, That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works. That's not how it works.
SPEAKER_03So that's why he was kind of confused. If I had sent Patty, it would have then he would have gone right to you. So I'm sitting there saying, Well, Liz is the Liz Callaway show with next summer's in the morning. Oh, yeah, I know. But he didn't, he could not put it together. I'm sure he's listening.
SPEAKER_02I am an actual person who has an actual phone that can actually text you directly and facilitate the operation.
SPEAKER_03Hundred percent. All right, okay. So once, you know, once he started putting it together.
SPEAKER_08I sent him a whatever is my team. It's some more intelligence. Here comes Pat.
SPEAKER_04It's Pat T. Here comes Pat. I thought it. You don't even know who you're talking about.
SPEAKER_02I thought it was going to be about dairy nipples, that song. It is about dairy nipples. It's Pat. Pat, Pat, Pat the Nipples.
unknownPat's Pat.
SPEAKER_02Anyway.
SPEAKER_03It's tough.
SPEAKER_02So you gave him Daniel Craig a hat.
SPEAKER_03He was so pun intended. Impressed.
SPEAKER_02No relation.
SPEAKER_03He couldn't believe that the station would do something like that. Without him to win it. Who's Dan? Danny.
SPEAKER_02Danny. Dan Daniel Craig. You know him. Anyway.
SPEAKER_03Anyway, it was just the other side over there. Gotta be careful.
SPEAKER_02So he got the hat, he was happy.
SPEAKER_03You took a pitch. I took a picture, put it out, and and we were talking about different things. And I said, Oh, and by the way, I'm gonna give you a Trump 26 coin. I haven't given any out yet. Whoa. And he looked at it and he was just so Is he a nice guy? Yeah, he's a real nice guy.
SPEAKER_05But he doesn't know who Liz is, so just reminding you.
SPEAKER_02He's got a character flaw, though.
SPEAKER_05I'm reminding the room.
SPEAKER_02Character flaw.
SPEAKER_03Character flaw. And so anyway, there's a good listener. He listens all day. Everybody.
SPEAKER_02Well, obviously, he doesn't listen hard enough.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well.
SPEAKER_02He's got to work on that.
SPEAKER_03There's a little bit of turned off.
SPEAKER_10Listen hard.
SPEAKER_05I love the text line now. What in the heck are dairy nipples? Here's the thing inside joke, you gotta be there. And we can be there. We actually can't legally talk about the dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_09Hmm.
SPEAKER_05So I mean I can mention it, but legally we can't talk about them.
SPEAKER_02Why?
SPEAKER_05I don't know. Sounded good. Maybe they'll stop texting.
SPEAKER_02You know what? There's an anti-weaponization fund for that.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I hope so. I was traumatized by dairy nipples in the radio station. My co-host is Liz Callaway, and they're all gonna look at me and go, who?
SPEAKER_03I actually forgot how that happened. But I remember it coming in.
SPEAKER_10There's a box. It's labeled. Yeah. That means it was in there.
SPEAKER_01There were dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_07Dairy nipples in my box.
SPEAKER_05Do you think they were used? And we took I took a picture of that too. It doesn't smell like dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_02However, I don't know what they smell like. Like unused, like you know. Unused dairy nipples? How did that box get here?
SPEAKER_01He brought it.
SPEAKER_02I know, but what was in it? Dairy nipples. What was mega dairy nipples? He brought it. What words he was pacifying?
SPEAKER_05What did you bring in this? I don't remember.
SPEAKER_02When he's stressed out, he's No. I don't I don't have a clue. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_03I don't remember bringing it. I thought someone else did.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_05No, that's you. That's me.
SPEAKER_02Let's do the MAGA trivia question. The answer is Text in 843-798-8255 on the Budget Blinds text line. You can be a winner.
SPEAKER_05Yvonne Control was known for her.
SPEAKER_07Never mind. Let's move on, folks. This is going down the road. The secret word. I know it's fighting. Remember that show, that game show? Yeah, that's what you remind me of. Who is it? The secret word. I'm here for the meeting. What's the password? Dairy nipples. Knock three.
SPEAKER_05That was actually a couple years ago.
SPEAKER_02Knock three. That was a long time ago.
SPEAKER_01Nice knock us.
SPEAKER_02I didn't even remember it until you brought it up.
SPEAKER_05Oh, I remember it every day.
SPEAKER_02Every day.
SPEAKER_05It's right there.
SPEAKER_02You keep your scissors in the dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_05I do, and my pens. Sounds painful. Okay, let's. Are we ready? Yes. All right, moving on. Trying really hard to get them to not be able to do that. Moving on from the dairy farm. It's so easy. You want to talk about shiny squirrel?
SPEAKER_03Rattle.
SPEAKER_05That guy right there.
SPEAKER_03All right, let's go. Okay, the Red Hat Trump trivia question today is what major legislation did Trump want to repeal? What major legislation did Trump want to repeal? It's the cruelty to dairy nipple's eyes. Everybody should know that one. And there's two different answers. Either one is good. Oh my, I can't believe it. This is Friday. Do you think they'll forget by Monday how bad it was Friday?
SPEAKER_02Which one did he want to repeal? He repealed and wanted to repeal other things.
SPEAKER_03One big one. One big thing? Oh, one big thing. He ran on it. He talked about it all the time. That was his main focus for a long time. You know what I'm talking about, don't you?
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm thinking of if I give a hint.
SPEAKER_03No, you can't. No, no, quiet, piggy.
SPEAKER_04You are the worst. You asked the question. You go, I'm not gonna give it away, Bob. Then you give everything away except the last one.
SPEAKER_02I'm going to get piggy nipples.
SPEAKER_05No, dairy nipples. Cows and pigs. Big difference.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Moving on. We'll be back in a moment.
SPEAKER_00The Liz Callaway Show with Nick Summers, making Grand Strand Morning Radio great again.
SPEAKER_02When you wake up in the morning and the light is hurt, you're here. Maggie Don, ask that question again.
unknownYou do.
SPEAKER_03Okay. The Trump trivia question is what major healthcare legislation.
SPEAKER_02Oh, wait, now you changed it.
SPEAKER_03No, I read that word for word to begin with. Really? You were not listening, my You never said healthcare.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes, I did.
SPEAKER_03That's a big word for word. Dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_02Roll the tape. Magadon, did he say healthcare? I have to go back.
SPEAKER_05Well.
SPEAKER_02Did he say healthcare? Yes, I did.
SPEAKER_05I didn't hear healthcare. I didn't hear it. Okay. I might have been too focused on that.
SPEAKER_03What major healthcare legislation did Donald Trump want to repeal? And you said he did a lot of them. And I'm looking at you funny, like, how many healthcare did you have?
SPEAKER_02I was going to give you the. But I was gonna I was gonna ask you. It was too late.
SPEAKER_03I asked the question. You have an answer or not? Dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_02I would say the Obamacare. He wanted to repeal and replace.
SPEAKER_03Well, seeing as how Richard got it correctly. You can occur. You can concur, yes.
SPEAKER_02I concur.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Uh you're getting uh feedback here from the budget blinds text line. Besides the I'm getting hit with a lot of these.
SPEAKER_10Dairy nipples.
SPEAKER_05And I am. Uh everyone is saying pretty much a three-part harmony. You never said healthcare.
SPEAKER_02There you go. I concur with the text line.
SPEAKER_03I can't until we're done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, I want to hear it when we're done.
SPEAKER_02That's okay. It's okay. You could falter once in a while, Max.
SPEAKER_03No, I can't.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm on this pedestal. I can't come down. All right. Um, in all seriousness, are you a NASCAR fan? Did you see what happened to Kyle Bush?
SPEAKER_03I thought you knew. Don't you remember anything? I do.
SPEAKER_02You don't even remember what you say.
SPEAKER_05My restaurant, all the different tracks and everything. My restaurant, of course. Race car drivers.
SPEAKER_03Every single one. Are you a Kyle Bush fan? I met him when when Bobby Allison and Judy got divorced in 1996. They went to Adam Petty's funeral. Adam Petty died at New Hampshire International Speedway.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_03And Judy called Bobby and said, We need to get together for the Petties. So they got back together again to go to the funeral.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_03And then they got remarried again in 2000. Patty and I went on their second wedding honeymoon to Vegas with them.
SPEAKER_10Really?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And we stayed at Carol Shelby's house.
SPEAKER_10Okay.
SPEAKER_03Went to his museum. We stayed in his suite. And that was in 2001 or 2002. Let's see. Kurt Bush is six or seven years older than Kyle. So Kyle is like 80, he was born in eight in the early 80s, I think. 85. Oh, yeah. 85. Okay. So this was in 2001.
unknownUh-uh.
SPEAKER_03We went to Las Vegas. Bobby Allison introduced me to him. At the new and upcoming. At the racetrack.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_03And his brother Kurt didn't have anywhere near the stamina or the or the uh talent talent. But he he was there too, and I met him, and I liked him. Actually, it was funny. I liked his little older brother, Kurt, just because he was more relayed laid back and reserved. And Kyle was kind of like, I'm gonna go get him type of guy. And Bobby said, You watch him. And that was in 2001. It was right after they got married, we went out with him.
SPEAKER_02Well, news has just come out. As you know, he passed away suddenly after a brief hospitalization from a serious illness. Um, although we don't know the official cause of death, we have heard now that he was found r unresponsive while performing in a racing simulator in Concord, North Carolina the day before he died. So I don't know if he ever gained consciousness between when they found him the night before, but he was hospitalized with a severe illness or a severe serious illness. We know nothing else. We know he had trouble with sinus infections. We know he was not feeling well um during a race, and he had asked for his shot by the bus uh but by his trailer after I think that was he won that race, Nick. The truck race.
SPEAKER_05The truck race he won.
SPEAKER_02That was just a couple of weeks ago. And then, like recently he was on an interview and they said, Does it ever get old and you when he goes?
SPEAKER_05No, that was right after the race on the track.
SPEAKER_02You never know, and that's when he was suffering the headache. Yeah, sinus headache.
SPEAKER_03He said you never know when it's your last. Yeah. Is that what it was? Because you never know when it's your last one.
SPEAKER_02I couldn't remember when he's and um that is uh words to live by because that was his last one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, unbelievable.
SPEAKER_02And he was supposed to race uh again this weekend.
SPEAKER_05But yeah, actually he was. Uh, this is the race that they all look forward to because it's a big endurance six, it's Coca-Cola 600. Don, you know they love this race.
SPEAKER_03That's a big one.
SPEAKER_05That the uh the Iron Man of NASCAR is to run the indie and then fly quick over to where the Coca-Cola 600 is and then run that race, which a few drivers have done. Tony Stewart has done it. Yeah, uh, and placed well. Anyway, uh our winner is uh Richard Maganificent. MAGA NASA. We have a shirt. I just sent it to you. Thank you. Yes. So Richard knew the answer, and the answer was Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Awful and it's a lot of things. Either one. And I said I told I told Nick there's two answers I'd take. Either one.
SPEAKER_09Either one.
SPEAKER_03So you talk about things like Kyle saying that. Ooh, Megan Nipples.
SPEAKER_05One of the it they're sending me pictures.
SPEAKER_03Oh God.
SPEAKER_05Look, oh my god. Look at the Megan Nipples. I think they're MAGA.
SPEAKER_03Stop it. I can't do this. Just say no to Nick. It's just a couple of Pokemon. It's a cow.
SPEAKER_08Oh, it's not like people are sending boob pics. That's not nice. I didn't call her a cow. I called the picture she sent a cow. Because it is a cow.
unknownGet off.
SPEAKER_02I'm trying to say something. Oh, is he here still? He's sentimental. Yes, Magadon.
SPEAKER_03When I met Bobby Allison in New Hampshire, he flew in with his twin-engine plane to the race. And Davey was at my concert the night before. I had Tammy Wynette and at a hanger for a concert series.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_03And Davey came out the next morning. He's like, I'll come in and see you before I go to the track. Because he and I got to be fairly he used to call me the Yank and he was the rebel. But anyway, a super guy. I still have his shirt in my house that Davey Allison took off after the race and gave it to me and signed it.
SPEAKER_02That's so cool.
SPEAKER_03But anyway, he introduced me to his father. He flew into the Concord Airport.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_03And and Davey had just made his new collage of pictures. And he said, Here, Pop, sign it. You'll never know when one of us won't be around. And that next day he died in Teledega.
SPEAKER_10Wow.
SPEAKER_03And I have that very last thing that he and his father signed. That that his Davy's brand new collage is 92, 93. So they all say that.
SPEAKER_02The moral of the story is Don't say it. Don't say that. Don't say anything of that kind. Because it's almost like a like a premonition.
SPEAKER_05You always say a self-fulfilling prophecy or put it out in the universe.
SPEAKER_02Don't put it out in the universe.
SPEAKER_03And that's the first thing I thought of when I heard him say that. Is what Davy said to his father.
SPEAKER_02You know what? Um you know what really struck me the other day when Trump was being um gaggled? The reporter said, President Trump, Mr. Trump, are aren't you tired of all of this uh back and forth with Iran? And he goes, I never get tired. We have replayed it. I love that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well that's him from day one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Like they're always trying to make him look bad.
SPEAKER_03You remember the ice rank in New York? Yeah. You remember six years? Yeah. And how many millions of dollars? Yeah. And and he they gave it to him because they knew he was going to fail. Under budget and what, six months or something? Whatever. And he said that then, too. Yeah. I love it when they don't think I can do it.
SPEAKER_05I'm here to tell you as a guy who didn't pay attention to anything like that because I was in Wisconsin. We heard about that even in Wisconsin. We thought, whoa.
SPEAKER_02Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that was big news for us.
SPEAKER_02It was big news. I mean, he even talked about it when I interviewed him in 2015-ish. And you're right.
SPEAKER_05It was given to him as a boondockle because he was going to fail.
SPEAKER_02All right, you want to do it? Go ahead. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_05Because he didn't play with, you ready? Yeah. He didn't play with the mafia. He didn't go with their uh he followed all the unions, though.
SPEAKER_02He did everything.
SPEAKER_05But he didn't do anything that was breaking the law. He didn't grease any palms illegally, all that. And that's why they wanted him to fail, and he didn't.
SPEAKER_03It's crazy. But he loves that type of stuff. Yeah. And that's what keeps him going. And you know, you think somebody with that kind of money, that kind of everything. Yeah. It's kind of like you'd think he would just want to go to an island and just relax on his boat and stuff. No, he just really I really believe sailing in Hawaii's country.
SPEAKER_09Come on, man.
SPEAKER_03I really believe he does love this country more than anybody I've known. And he's going to do whatever he has to do. And that's scary in a way because I'm not thinking I'm not sure he's really thinking about the terms as much as he is what he wants to get done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And so I guess I get him credit for that.
SPEAKER_02Magadon will be back in a moment. Yes, dear. All right, we're wrapping things up here at 9.45. As you head off to your Memorial Day weekend, we went through all the different uh celebrations and commemorations happening around the area. And there's something happening today, actually, tonight, 7 o'clock at the Reed Center, the brass band um playing patriotic music, so that's happening. All you need to do is just go on the website or on Facebook and just search Memorial Day events near me. And uh you'll see. Uh, there are a lot of things. We are veteran rich here in this community. And Nick and I will be in the parade. Um, I'm thinking MAGADON might be in the parade tomorrow.
SPEAKER_05All right. I will be there. Every parade needs a clown. And I'm gonna be there.
SPEAKER_03Yep, yep, that's me with my nipples. All right. So one thing I want to I just want to put a shout out to the Ory County Conservative Alliance in Autry Benton. They're doing a stump meeting on the 26th at the Peanut Warehouse. I'm not sure how many tickets are left, but it's like 300 and something people, and it's getting close. So I would find if you want to go, it's uh at the Peanut Warehouse on Tuesday the 26th, and it's the stump meeting.
SPEAKER_02Who's going?
SPEAKER_03Everybody there's everybody's gonna be there. There's like 30 speakers.
SPEAKER_09Oh wow.
SPEAKER_03Um uh people going from the AG's office, uh keynote speakers. Russell Fry is actually gonna be the keynote speaker. So anyway, if you uh get onto the HCCA's website and or Arthur Benton, if you want to go, I don't know how many tickets are left, but I just want to make sure that you know that that's happening. And of course, then on the 28th, there's uh another big I mean I'm sorry, the 28th is the stump. The 26th is is that Barefoot Landing, something different.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So the twenty the twenty so the twenty-eighth is a Thursday.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and Tuesday is is there's an event, Pamela event.
SPEAKER_02Get out the vote.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. I always mess that up. And actually, she's actually told me before. She's like, she used to call me Brown.
SPEAKER_02Naga Brown.
SPEAKER_05What a great deep relationship you two seem to have. They don't even know what to call each other. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_03That is so true. We miss that. I mess that up every time.
SPEAKER_05Anyway, so this is Don Brown is uh Pamela Corvette there. Hold on. She's working on some derby word.
SPEAKER_03It's Friday, folks. You don't have to put up with this unbelievable. We got three days to forget about this. All day, today, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday they'll be back. Can you imagine, Don?
SPEAKER_05Did you hear what that one politician said? What's his name? Mike Corterback? Yeah, I can't believe what he said. What?
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh. Well, I got your name right, Nikki.
SPEAKER_02All right, children. Yes, mommy. Is there anything else that we want to bring up, Nikki, from uh all of your work this morning?
SPEAKER_05I I just wanted to mention all that fraud in Minnesota is starting to come to a head. And you have reporters on the ground who've been sounding the alarm bells for a long time who are being ignored. Some of them fired from their mainstream media news agencies, you know, the local CBS's ABCs, because they were trying to call it out and they weren't allowed to. Some of them are speaking up, and one said that they are not done. This is going way deeper. And it's truly what President Trump said. Either they were in on it or total incompetence. And we don't think I mean the higher the higher ups. Yeah. This level of fraud does not go on without somebody in the upper, upper. I mean, some of these programs ran the money dry. They started at a surplus, and they're millions and millions and millions in debt. And why that matters? Because a lot of it's federal money as well. That's my money, that's your money, that's your money, Don. So 15 arrests so far, it's gonna go on for much more. The investigation has only begun. That is what one reporter on the ground who lives and breathes and lives in Minnesota has said. So I just want to get that out there. Overdue.
SPEAKER_02All right. Magadon, anything else you wanted to bring up?
SPEAKER_03Well, I just was telling you off air. I I uh I had to go to New Hampshire. Why would you tell her off? What did she do? I told her off.
SPEAKER_02Air.
SPEAKER_03My ex-wife's celebration of life.
SPEAKER_02That's right. That's right.
SPEAKER_03And uh it's 34 years ago that basically her and I went our different ways. And all the people I went up there, but I wasn't sure what to expect. What to expect how you would be accepted with these and these were all her friends from the day we got divorced, right straight through to her funeral. Yeah. And I gotta tell you, it was an eye-opening event for every single person was there to come up to me and said, Hi, how am I doing? And I wasn't ready for it. So, you know, that really s gave me some closure because there was a lot of issues way back. But I have to tell you, and and one of the the pastor came up to me afterward and introduced himself, he knew who I was. And he says, Isn't it sad how death will give us closure? And boy, that hit home too, because it was like I I just wanted to leave.
SPEAKER_02So, um did you not keep in touch with her while she was ill?
SPEAKER_03No. She had a she's with her partner now twenty-seven years. I've been with Patty twenty-six years. Oh, okay. And so, but all every time we went to see my son, it was a graduation of the kids or something, she would be there with Bud and we would talk, and Patty and her would have a glass of wine and talk, and they liked each other. Okay. So we we kept that. But I harbored the fact that I my son could never be with me way back when. I couldn't get past the fact that I wanted my son out of college to work with me. Right. And that wasn't gonna happen. So I could never get past that in my life.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And then this past weekend when I was in New Hampshire, I finally said, Okay, it's it's over. I don't need that in my head. And uh it was really nice to see her friends. Uh there was five or six people said what they what she meant to them for the twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven years they were friends. She was really a a a a real good person. So but closure really is funny how life changes.
SPEAKER_02Um that is a message because we're hearing a lot of uh people coming out from Kyle Bush's life as well, right, Nick?
SPEAKER_05We've been hearing Yeah, uh that's one thing that Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted yesterday when he heard about his death. He said for years we were more than just rivals. We really couldn't stand each other, or so we thought. Unreal. So we thought. Once I got to know the man and once I got to spend time with him and work with him, he is a hell of a man and a great husband and a great father. And I'm so glad after all those years, we're able to repair what we thought was a damaged relationship, but it was more just them believing their own persona hype off track, on track, whatever. And it was just it was really, I think it was one of the best ones I've read regarding uh you know Bush and and his death is from Dale Jr.
SPEAKER_03So and isn't it interesting? You would never know that if it wasn't because of the death. The closure, yeah. It's and that's what the pastor came up to me. He said that.
SPEAKER_02It was show business for well, yeah. I mean, they were trying to keep up this you know, this soap opera, you know, wrestling type of you know, storyline.
SPEAKER_05He was the bad guy, he was the bad guy on the track and it was working for him.
SPEAKER_03It's just like Dale Earnhardt himself. He was the intimidator, the old black number three. Yeah, everybody hated him. Yeah, but if you got to know him, and I met I met him in in Tallodega with chocolate, his his uh gas guy, and chocolate come up to me and I'm said, Is he that bad of a guy? 20 years, 30 years Is he that bad of a guy? And he says, No. On the track, they fear him because he's so good. But when you get off the track, he's just an easy guy to deal with.
SPEAKER_02You know, it's it's that's kind of the persona that Trump has too. When people actually meet him, they're like, he's a really charismatic, yeah, really nice person.
SPEAKER_05Ask Bill Maher.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And people can't stand that about Bill Maher, you know, and that's why people don't want to give Trump the time of day because they might be proven wrong.
SPEAKER_05They shattered their image of them, of Trump, who was this big, mean, evil, Nazi ogre. Yeah. And Bill Maher says he's nothing, nothing like that.
SPEAKER_03I was surprised when I heard that from him. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Keslowski, my wife's uh one of her favorite racers, said about Bush. He said, he said, you know, I feel like I'm Wiley Coyote now, and there's no road on a trace around the chat. Oh, I thought that was so because they were rivals. They were rivals on the track. I mean, they would hit each other. Yeah, you know, and for him to say that, I mean, that that was really that was big.
SPEAKER_02You know, a real black mark on NASCAR or car racing was that time when that man was run over on the track. He got out of the car. You don't remember that?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02There were there was a race, and a man got out of the car um and then he ended up run over.
SPEAKER_03I don't remember that one.
SPEAKER_02Wow, you don't remember?
SPEAKER_05That was like in the last 10 years. This was the outlaw racing, not it was Tony Stewart, who was a NASCAR driver. But he wasn't racing in NASCAR. No, it was dirt track. Yeah, and it was outlaw racing. Those cars with the big funny wings. It turned out the guy was high.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it was a dirt track. Oh, was that what it was?
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, they did an autopsy, and he was so high. He should have never you first rule is you don't get you don't get out of the car.
SPEAKER_02Anywhere. Right. I mean, you don't do it on a highway. Right.
SPEAKER_05So, and then the guy was I mean, he was a lot of THC in his system. Yeah, wow. He was racing on. I never saw the other side. He was Tony Stewart was found not guilty, all that other stuff. But they tried to get his family tried to go out.
SPEAKER_02But that was like a big deal.
SPEAKER_05It was it was scary for a while until the truth came out.
SPEAKER_02It's like, oh it looked really bad. It did. Yeah. And um, you know, uh this is just an uh just a very big shocker. It is so we'll wait to hear more, but we did hear he was found unconscious and in a simulator, um, racing simulator on Wednesday. He was hospitalized and died. Now, I don't know if he ever gained consciousness or what happened, but soon we will find out. All right, Megadon, enjoy the weekend. We'll see you tomorrow at the parade. And I hope you all commemorate Memorial Day uh in a uh in a wonderful way and uh watch out on the roads, lots of motorcycles, and uh just be careful. We'll see you on Tuesday. We'll be off on Monday.
