Dr. Daniel.

SPEAKER_01

I made it here.

SPEAKER_02

You made it here. Thank you so much for coming in. If you want to text any of your questions on the budget plans, text line at 843-798-COM-798-8255. You know, here's the thing. Um, we have talked about regenerative cell treatment here, PRP injections, non-steroid trigger point injections, NAD shots, ozone therapy. We talk about a lot of different things here uh that also happens at Falk Family Total Health, not just chiropractic care. So uh we thought we'd use this time not only to promote the upcoming seminar, which is Tuesday at 6 30 p.m. on 9th Avenue in Conway, uh, but also uh to talk about the other things that you do at the uh Falk Family Total Health, including uh the massage therapy, chiropractic care, and all the different things you do at Falk Family Total Health.

SPEAKER_01

And we do all that, and then we're expanding too, so we're gonna do a whole bunch more.

SPEAKER_02

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're looking forward to probably thermography and acupuncture and a lot of different therapies we want to offer. We want to kind of develop a holistic hospital, I think. This is uh you know, Ory County is one of the top growing counties in the country.

SPEAKER_02

And it's really underserved in your area. It really is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, people are looking for natural care, they don't want to be put on drugs and medicine, they want to treat all these problems just with chemicals because a lot of times they're not chemical problems, they're physical problems. So why not treat it with a physical means?

SPEAKER_02

And you know what I really appreciate about your office is um the amazing hours that you guys offer. It's really incredible. And the other thing is the great staff. Yes, and the other thing, and I'm just talking just from a being a client, um, it's very comprehensive when you walk in and you're getting that chiropractic consultation, like you don't leave w any point a point, any bone or joint untouched or untouched.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, point we'll just middle together, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but also, you know, what's really important to know is is that you're really affordable.

SPEAKER_01

I think so.

SPEAKER_02

And you help work it out with the clients.

SPEAKER_01

Right. A lot of the uh docks at the beach for so much more than we are, you know. And unfortunately, everything's going up. Our overhead is out of control, and I'm sure everybody else is is also, but you know, we've tried to keep our our fees down. Uh we want to make it affordable because uh I think we we just want to help as many people as we can, and uh we don't want to out make it just an elitist thing. So I don't think anyone can afford, I think, what we provide.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. All right, so um I was just talking about the free stemar. You have to call up and reserve your seat because it's done in the office and there's limited seats.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, this one's almost full. Uh we might be out of seat, so there's one in June coming up, though, also.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um that's gonna be calling, check it out.

SPEAKER_01

The June 16th. Our phone number is 843-248-0104.

SPEAKER_02

Get your name on one of the lists or a wait list or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Seminar. Uh we just had our natural healthcare workshop, and uh that was great as well. Attended, and uh we talk about nutrition and exercise and and ergonomics because it's not just uh what we do in the office, but we want you to have a full life and we want to address everything that's going on. So your whole lifestyle is geared towards being healthy and staying healthy as you age and get older.

SPEAKER_02

And and I'm not gonna lie, whenever I have to get up from some sort of position, I'm thinking like what a Dr. Fogel yell yells at me when I do this. Oh, cross your legs, how you sleeping? Where's your head? Exactly. So I love that little voice in the back of your head. Uh you know, it really helps you stay.

SPEAKER_01

RK's try to get you well and try to keep you well. You know, a lot of doctors just throw stuff at you here, take these drugs forever, and you know, we'll see you in coming up.

SPEAKER_02

People have a fear of chiropractors, and I just want to address that because uh I have been through uh, you know, over the years and moving and everything, I I've gone through different chiropractic um offices.

SPEAKER_01

You're a chiropractic connoisseur.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and you you can tell when someone's in your office and never seen a chiropractor before, and then other people like they know the regimen and the rigmarole and they kind of go with the flow.

SPEAKER_01

Say we're thorough, and I'd be thorough with everybody, whether they've been to a chiropractor for years and years or whole life, or someone who's never been to a chiropractor, yeah. A lot of note-taking everything, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, a lot of communication between the staff, like the massage therapist knows what you're working on, and vice versa. Right. Yeah, it's all continuity of care, which is very important across the board. Um, so you communicate very well with the clients. It all of that is is just from my perspective as a client, you don't realize probably, I mean, you're doing it for that reason, but you don't realize how valuable that is and how it compares to our experiences in other places.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we get patients that come in as a new patient and they just want to get cracked. They just want to get adjusted. And we do we that's not what we do. When you come in, we want to know what's going on. Uh, we don't want to do the wrong thing. So we do a very thorough exam, we do a hundred-point examples.

SPEAKER_02

Could include an x-ray?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we can do an x-ray, we'll go over that thoroughly.

SPEAKER_02

Hip, knee, uh like, any any part of your body.

SPEAKER_01

And and a lot of times we're gonna try to figure out what's going on and find the right course of treatment because we don't treat everybody the same. Yeah. And some people get mad because we don't do treatment the first day. And we're gonna do an exam.

SPEAKER_02

Sometimes you have a symptom that you would never even correlate with getting an adjustment, like a headache or sinus infection, or dizziness. Dizziness. And and that's what I wanted to talk to you about today is treatment for vertigo.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, we see a lot of that.

SPEAKER_02

Um, how about tinnitus? Do you do anything for that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, tinnitus is ringing in the ears, and people think it's it's in the ears, but it's actually not. And I found out that most of tinnitus is a problem in the jaw. The TMJ, that joint of the jaw.

SPEAKER_02

When it's inflamed.

SPEAKER_01

It's inflamed or misaligned, it's not functioning properly. There are several muscles that control the jaw when it goes up and down, but also side to side. And if you feel the end of your jaw, you follow your jaw all the way back, it goes right to your ear. Yeah. So those muscles are being pulled and they're tight. It actually pulls on your ear, your temperature membrane, and actually cause that ringing.

SPEAKER_02

I never told you I have ringing in my ears.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you didn't? No. That's why you can't hear me.

SPEAKER_02

I know. I thought it was because of Nick. That's my pain in the nick, is the ringing in the ear.

SPEAKER_00

What about my pain in the liz? Well, it's a personal problem right there.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, I'm I'm going to have you maybe uh explore my uh jaw a little bit more because you know Susan's been working on it.

SPEAKER_01

Especially one-sided tinnitus. No. Now, probably like Nick, I've been to a lot of concerts, so someone ringing in my ears is maybe from that. I've been to hundreds of concerts in there. I have ear damage.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm sure it's the loud music on stage for years, this every day. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And your ears are in your head, so it's close to brain damage. Probably. Yeah, I mean, we learned a lot about hearing. I mean, I work with her. Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

When we were working with the hearing aid company, we learned a lot about hearing and how it impacts your brain. We know so much. Yeah. Okay, let's get to vertigo because vertigo is completely disabling. It is, um, curable.

SPEAKER_01

Most most of it is, and I found 80% of vertigo we we can treat in our office.

SPEAKER_02

That is a m I never knew that, and I wish I had known I would have sent our our boss there because he he had a little bit of a stint with uh vertigo.

SPEAKER_01

He's stumbling, falling down.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know, but we didn't see him for a couple of weeks.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's it's an awful feeling, and you feel like the world's ending almost. Everything's spinning, you can have spinning, um, you're spinning, or the world's spinning, or or just so light. Yeah, and you can see your dog's stumbling around. So it's it's really bad. And uh so some doctors are saying it's the little stones and deep in your ear. Crystal, right? Like crystals, and when you move your head, those move around, and they're almost they're pretty much microscopic, those crystals. And they'll move around and tell little hairs in your ears where you are in space and all. But and but for those to actually move out of position from where they are is is super rare. I mean, maybe five percent of all vertigo might be that, and there's something called appi maneuver which can help realign those crystals.

SPEAKER_02

That's like when you like lay on the bed with your head hanging off and you try and hook it back into where it's yeah, there's a a certain movement, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta go through like a little dance with your head. Yeah. And if you do that and it doesn't work, that's probably not the problem. And most times it isn't. Okay. So a lot of times it's the problem of the very top vertebra in your neck.

SPEAKER_02

Now how does that get disrupted?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, well, you could sleep wrong, you can be in a car accident, uh, you know, there's you could have your head down looking at your phone all the time, those kind of things, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Something minor, it doesn't have to be a major over and over and over you're doing that.

SPEAKER_01

That could throw that out. Oh, yeah, yeah. So uh very pop and uh for me, even even the birth process, when uh the doctor's pulling the baby out, sometimes they pull so hard on the neck on the neck, it can misalign those little tiny bones, you know. And they're really soft and really fragile, and then a baby comes out and then they're gonna have an atlas problem. And I wish I got adjusted when I was a baby. We adjust babies all the time. In fact, when uh we have pregnant patients, uh when when they give birth, we adjust their baby for free for the first year of life.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah, because we think it's that important because especially a pregnant woman needs care because the weight, the center of gravity is off, right?

SPEAKER_01

And you line up the pelvis and you you help certain ligaments relax and the baby can turn naturally on its own. So any baby in a beep breach position is called the Webster technique, and we work with that, and within two weeks that baby will turn instead of a doctor trying to manipulate it. Yeah, it's not it's just brutal if they try to manually turn a baby, it doesn't work that way.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I was talking to Susan and she helps with fertility with her massage therapy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was gonna have her on the biggest.

SPEAKER_02

She had a successful story, she was telling me all about it to one of her fertilizers. She did it patients.

SPEAKER_01

She's able to move the uterus on this girl. It's amazing. She's taken fertility drugs, and after two rounds of of two fairs, fertility, which are brutal and expensive.

SPEAKER_02

And and very trying on the body.

SPEAKER_01

So she did this fertility massage, and then she went back to get tested to see if she's ready to start a third round of fertility, and they found out she was pregnant.

SPEAKER_02

That's such an amazing story.

SPEAKER_01

And they told her she could never get pregnant on her own. Yeah, so it was pretty great. That's so that's something else.

SPEAKER_02

All right, so back to verbal. We went to the wrong part of the body. We were way down. I digress. Before we we run out of time, tell us about this atlas bone.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so the brain gets information from the body from all the joints in the body, right? Not just the joint, the nerves coming out, not just the brain. So the joints provide this information where the head is in space. So your brain's always trying to keep your eyes level to the horizon. It's called the writing reflex. And it gets that information from the very top vertebrae and how that moves. Now, if that vertebrae gets jammed or twisted or stuck out of place, part of those nerves don't function. And now you're getting information from one side and not another, or a mix of how it's imbalanced. And then you can have that weird feeling where your brain can't tell you where your head is in space, and you can panic, or you can get dizziness, or you can get that spinning that sensation. It's awful. And I've had lots of patients go through all kinds of tests, neurological tests, take all kinds of drugs, and we find out it's the atlas misalignment. And when we realign that atlas, their dizziness just goes away.

SPEAKER_02

Do you think I could bring my dog? Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I've seen dogs like that.

SPEAKER_02

You'll be able to Yeah, we can pout dogs.

SPEAKER_01

The dog atlas is much bigger than the humans, it's easier to power.

SPEAKER_02

So you'll be able to tell if it's that before you do it.

SPEAKER_01

Right, yeah, yeah. Again, we don't do anything until we test and we check out and find out.

SPEAKER_02

Amazing. Do we have any last minute?

SPEAKER_00

Uh I didn't think we were gonna have time, but I can real quick, my knee is bone to bone. Oh my god. Bone to bone, bone to bone. Can you fix it?

SPEAKER_01

Can you fix it? It depends. We'd have to take a look at it and see extra. A lot of doctors say bone on bone, and it's not. There's usually a space in there, and if there's a space, we can help it. I gave him your website. Okay, good. All your info. We got it. Dr.

SPEAKER_02

Falk, we're gonna send you over to the Budget Blinds text line so you can personally answer them before you go. Because we did run out of time. Dr. Falk's uh website is Falk F A L K, Falk Family Total Health dot com. Book your C for the free stemar, or mention the Liz Callaway show and get a gift card towards your chiropractic consultation, which could include an X-ray. And I'll be bringing Angel by.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we'll take a look at her. Get rid of that dog, he's dizziness.

SPEAKER_02

The poor thing. She's suffering greatly.

SPEAKER_01

Well, if you ever had that, you feel terrible, but it's amazing how fast you can feel better.

SPEAKER_02

I'm good. I I can't wait. All right. Thank you so much. We'll see you next time.

SPEAKER_01

All right.
